...you get a pretty big explosion! (GIF is 4MB, it will play slowly at first)
Eeks, Xerox and I all stacked up as many Catalyzer charge balls as possible on the poor little shufflebot. I'd like to know how much damage this actually does do a regular monster. It would be cool to have an party load up Vanaduke with 5-star Catalyzer rounds just to see what happens.

That's nice, but...
The charge attack does the same damage no matter how many charges you lay on a single enemy.
I'm sure that if it gets 4 charges from 4 different people, they'll each deal damage.

No, Ren....
The damage each charge does is the same, but adding additional charges does result in additional total damage. For example, if you place two charges on a monster, both will explode for damage when it is triggered.
That means that if each person in a 4 person party put 10 charges on, you'd get 40 charges of explosion. At around 200 per explosion, that's over 8000 damage. Yikes!

If you try a catalyzer in ATH, only one of the charges will actually do damage on the little bot since it dies in 1 hit.
You'd need a big monster with lots of HPvanaduke to see all of the damage :3

I also wasn't the one that fired the kill shot, so I didn't get to see the number. Though, it seems like Catalyzer explosions are capped at 34 damage in the ATH.

But the gif also shows that the camera moves too much when multiple fields around one enemy are simultaneously detonated. Shaking the camera like that may be a good way to troll your own team.

So, I've now continued to
So, I've now continued to blow up more helpless denizens of the clockworks with Tantarian serving as my partner in crime. Turns out about 3 stacked Catalyzer orbs create the about same explosion knockback as a Big Angry Bomb or Khorovod charge. It's difficult to find enough subjects to withstand repeat blasts. So have a video of this poor Lumber being annihilated and his compatriot being flung clear out of the screen.
