For some reason, if I want to aim at a monster, I have to aim at a spot above it's feet, at about one block high. It would be so much easier if directional cursor aiming aimed at the tile the cursor is on, not one or more tiles up.
Have cursor aiming be based on the floor spot the cursor is at.
The screen is skewed a bit, and it makes gunning awkward.
IMO - the best solution is just to have a 100% vertical view for the game, instead of this side slant skew thing we have :\
Shots not going where you aim is not a 'triviality'. It's as bad as the shield lagging.
While I disagree with both Unicornkitty and Shosuko, zeddidragon makes a good point, and I support this.
I am not sure a "crosshair" style cursor would help things, since Shosuko is right, the game plays at a 3/4 angle.
However, I think the cursor does need a bit of a redesigning. As it is, it's blotchy pixelated mess compared to the rest of the game, which is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps a more crisp looking, possibly slightly smaller cursor would help improve accuracy.
Yep the crusor sucks. It also blocks what you're looking at if it's a small creature. Not the most important problem, but worth bringing up and fixing.
Until hundreds of other players decide to complain about the triviality you just brought up, you can just aim one block higher than you normally would. Who knows, maybe by then you'll have adjusted to this system and stop caring.
