Last time (rather recently) I looked at Trinkets from Brinks, their description stated that they'd be bound upon being equipped. So I figured I'd spend some tokens to buy one and try to trade it to my main knight.

Nope, bound. Checked back, said "This item will be bound when acquired". I'm less than pleased.

I'm well aware that the idea behind bounding is to prevent newbies from getting the strong gears right off the bat. But isn't that common sense already? Is that really the only reason why I have no complete control over the items I've obtained? Seeing as Three Rings try making profits, they might as well add an in-game service (the Gremlins) that will let you unbound items for a fee in energy.

Now, I'm no veteran player, but I'm aware that it didn't use to be in application back when the game started. And I could only imagine the massive uproar when they introduced that lock on items. And for very good reasons.

I, for one, don't like the lock. Many people don't, but clearly the rest among you have different ideas. The question is, is it because of us or is it because of Three Rings?

They were always locked, all

They were always locked, all equips from Brinks was locked always (at least from the launch of the game), its just that the description was wrong, thats all there to it. On the locks itself, honestly, i don't like it either because the trinkets are pretty horrible, if they were unlocked you could at least sell them to someone less knowledgeable (lol).
