it would be unfair, though if they chose an opponnent for you, because they could have much better weapons and pwn you easily, so there should be a match making system based on their weapons and other stuff

Or you could just walk around and go up to some random person and say: "i challange you to a duel!" like yugi oh. There could also be random matchmaking, but it would be cool to just right click someone and it would go "DrLequack challanged you!" I could see it making the pokemon music, when you run into someting in the bushes.

i love yugi oh, but now they run around in cars fighting each others, its pretty stupid. Pokemon is AWSOME
OT: yeah pvp would be cool
According to three rings, It's coming out eventualy, so were screwed unless we get a deadline.
