It would work with any achievement. The crafting ones would benefit as well.
Cool that you are at only one more achievement to complete the table.. but.. what's the "reward (the thing that inspired me to do this), besides the pretty icon that shows I did this".

Well, it will be nice to have a thing that says how close you are to the goal/achievent you are trying to do... but... think about, it will only work with minerals, prob collection, and maybe.. (not really) with depths surviving.
Ok, I'm also trying to do the master miner, but for that, well... I'm just saving all the minerals I have and add them up at the end of every week to see if it is time to deposit those minerals. (Note: I still don't know how the mineral's achievemt works, I don't know if they add up even you have deposit 100 at one pont, and next day 204).
