I think it would be a good addition to be able to scroll through a list of the various offers to buy and sell crystal Energy, rather than be limited to the top 5 best deals. It would probably prevent energy rich merchants from boosting the prices by laddering up the top 5 best deals, as they are now.

how is being able to select which trade you want prevent energy rich merchants from boosting prices?
if they show you the full list of trades available, it would actually benefit the 'merchants' because they will have more information available manipulate the market.
the only example that I can give, is imagine the AH and someone selling 10 bushy tails for 500cr each, and after that there's a big jump to 2k each
as a smart merchant they'd just buy the 10 and relist them at 1.9k and make the profits.
however if they could only see the 'top 5' they wouldn't be able to see this, and they would have to go by faith that 500cr is cheap.
and i don't think there is anyone with enough liquid energy/crowns to adjust the economy the way you suggest.
As it is it tells you the lowest prices, isn't that good? Why would you want to see the most expensive deals?
