In beta players like me... would compare Pokemon to the monsters in Spiral Knights, I don't know why I did this but I wrote it all in my wiki lol... I want to share my observations with you guys since nobody is jelly about my wikipage anymore since I was inactive for like... 2 months?

Blastoise = Tortodrone
Mini Gengar = Devilite
Crobat = Greaver
Shiny Ditto = Sloom
Kadabra = Tenderfoot Mender
Kecleon = Chromalisk
Poochyena = Ash Tail
Mightyena = Alpha Ash Tail
Square Shaped Ditto = Jelly Cube
Mew = Mewkat

I kinda wasted my time looking up Pokemon because I don't really know all of their names... BUT WHATEVA!!!!3

NO YOU MAY NOT COPY MY WIKI PAGE!!!!

So what you're saying is that

So what you're saying is that Pokemon creators took many of their designs from real world animals, and then Spiral Knights creators also took most of their inspiration from real world animals?

They are clearly plagiarizing from Nature. Sue them, Nature!

I think what's being implied

I think what's being implied here is that Three Ringworms actually plagiarized from Ken Sugimori himself. Admittedly, that's a pretty brain 'sploding accusation. Still, it's a lot more feasible than the crystal energy/lag related conspiracy theories of days past.

It would also explain why remedy capsules bear a striking resemblance to palette-swapped Poké Balls...

But wouldn't that mean that

But wouldn't that mean that Pokemon stole Red Cross' color scheme? And the Nurses look like candy stripers. At the rate they're going, they'd have copied some element of everything in the world that isn't owned by Disney.

If you want to talk conspiracy, how about how all these popular kids shows basically promoting organized animal fighting for entertainment purposes, and implies that they like to fight. Then theres the brainwashing of pokemon, who suddenly become friendly after you beat the crap out of them and cram them into a tiny ball against their will. To this day, no one knows what its like inside a poke balls... at best its speculated that they are put into a induced coma (aka rest) when they are not needed. And no one has ever explained how battles somehow contribute to the world economy in any way.... yet any 10 year old can strike out on their own and some how make a living out of it. And who the hell is funding the pokemon centers? And what exactly do researchers contribute with the research they do? And who the hell even funds them? Is it some how critical to society that they need to find the applications for Clefairy farts?!?!

The entire franchise is built promoting animal abuse, and the TV series is nothing but a hallucination of a comatose, sexually confused 10 year old boy with father abandonment issues characterized in the first season by his obsession with his Hat.

Oh, not the "Ash in a coma" theory again. Why would anyone even bother making sense out of POKEMON? Where are these people when you need them for stuff like Killer 7 or a Shin Megami Tensei?

It sounds more absurd if you

It sounds more absurd if you do it on kid shows that never put much thought into continuity and plot holes. Doing conspiracy theory on Shin Megami Tensei would be like watching 24 fans and Lost fans go at it.... not nearly as fun.

Pff.

Finally, a chance to use this image.

EDIT: Since Pokemon can be stored inside computers and they can be created by computers (Porygon), I think it's safe to say Pokemon get turned into Digital Data after being caught inside a Pokeball.
Inside the Pokeball, is obviously a simulated natural environment, just like the ones in PCs.
But I'm only going from what's in the games.
