Are low UVs worth it?

I know similar topic must be somewhere, but couldn't find it.
So my question is:
how much helpful low UVs realy are? Are they worth it, or is buying items (sword, to be exact) with low uv just a waste of crowns?

You probably won't notice a difference, but low UVs aren't much more expensive than a non-UV item either.
It's hard to say they're not worth it because you're only talking about a difference of 1-2k crowns.

No specific goal or something, just was wondering, as I saw low UV weapons about 5K+ more expensive than no-UV weapons in the AH :)
Well actualy... was thinking about Nightblade with low ASI (I am planning on getting Vog Cub coat in the future).

Yes for some, no for others.
I do notice a positive difference with a low ASI on an alchemer and a low CTR on a bomb. Honestly I don't notice a meaningful difference between very high and ultra CTR, because I don't typically want to place bombs that fast, but I notice all of the different steps up to very high, so for me at least there is a ceiling, not a floor, to the useful CTRs for bombs.
I do not notice a meaningful difference with low damage bonuses, but I find medium moderately helpful (not so much that I'd pay extra for it, but enough that I'm glad I lucked into one on my nitronome). It takes the same number of hits to kill the monster with a low bonus, even though each hit is 5% stronger. I also don't notice any benefit to a low ASI on a fast weapon like a cutter or even a moderately fast spur.

Some UV's are worth it. Such as Mad Bomber with low UV fire. And don't worry too much, the update is going to be in a few days. You'll have a chance at that *most wanted* UV.

They can still be useful if you stack them with other bonuses. A sword with a UV of ASI: low, plus a Swiftstrike Buckler (natural bonus of ASI: high), still stacks to a total of ASI: very high for that particular sword, for example. Obviously a higher UV will always be better, but prices also tend to increase dramatically for anything above a UV: low, so think about how the UV will stack with the bonuses from your other gear before buying.
