Spending limit reached with no support help!

About 4 Weeks ago I reached my spending limit (Knight: killinfreak). I waited a little over a week and then put in a trouble ticket with support. After seeing several post and noticed that it takes about a week or so I waited patiently for a reply back or even to see if my account was going to be reset but this never happened. So about a week ago I sent in another trouble ticket stating I still have the problem and can not buy energy due to the fact I have reached my spending limit. Still I have not received a reply back nor has my spending limit been reset (even though its been a month).

I own a small clan that play several different games on Steam. We decided to start playing SK and was cool for the first week or so until everyone was running out of energy. So I decided to started giving away free energy to my members that wanted to keep playing; not realizing that my spending limit would be reached and that it would be impossible to contact SK Support or to even get a response from them.

We connect and play SK through steam and noticed that this is a more common problem with people that have came over from steam. As of now we have had several members stop playing and I am on the verge of closing down this section of the clan. I understand about the credit card fraud and the verification processes SK needs to go through to make sure that everything is legit. What I don't understand is a company that is here to make money takes so long to respond back or to correct the issue from people that are willing to support them. I would like to get this problem taken care of as soon as possible until it becomes another game we put in the trash can.

Isn't a spending limit

Isn't a spending limit usually decided by the card provider and not the one the money is spent on? Mayhaps you should check with your provider?

Reaver, if you look here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Billing_FAQ it says down at the Spending Limit section that OOO does impose a limit on spending. Supposedly, after thirty calender days (not one month, but 30 days) your limit will be raised, but apparently this has not happened to our OP.

Well for me its been several weeks without even an acknowledgement from support even stating they are looking into it. Your friend must be the lucky one! I have noticed this situation on several other forums!

I reached my spending limit a few days ago so I send then an email and about 1hr later I received a reply and was able to purchase.

Sorry about the trouble, Killinfreak! I have checked our system thoroughly after reading your post and I'm afraid it looks like your emails never reached us, that's why there was no response. We do indeed try to answer and resolve support requests as soon as possible. In this case it looks like you ended up as the victim of a rare corner case. I'd rather not give away any details about your personal information, but lately we have been having trouble with some emails sent from the email provider you use. Our tech gremlins are aware and looking into this issue, but for the moment I'd recommend using a different email provider to contact us.
If you'd like to have the spending limit of your Steam account raised, please include the name of your Steam account's main knight right away, as that will speed up the process. I'd also like to take this opportunity to apologize about the lack of website login and ability to send ingame support requests from Steam accounts. We haven't forgotten about that and we're trying to make this available as soon as possible for our steamy knights.
