Why can't I transmute this item?!

Hello...

I want to make a Vile Striker.
I have gathered all materials needed.
I even leveled up the Striker to level 6, since I wasn't sure if the Lv.5+ required was 5 or more, or more than 5...
Anyways, when I'm on the machine, even after unequipping the Striker, I can't seem to use it and transmute?! wtf?

I tried dragging it there, and everything... No idea what the hell is going on, and I'm sure this is a bug...

This is happening on my Steam account. I made this one just to be able to post here.
It has the same name and everything.
The character is named "Chinoman" since the game doesn't allow any numbers...

Do you have the crowns &

Just to make sure, do you have the crowns & energy required?

Edit: The other thing I can think of is that you need to unequip your Striker before you click on the alchemy machine. Unequipping it while you have the alchemy interface up doesn't work.

I've had it not work for me

I've had it not work for me before where the transmute button doesn't want to light up, so it seems worth a try.

I have had this problem

I have had this problem before. Yes, you have to unequip the item that is being used in the transmute. If you unequip it while your transmute menu is up it still will not let you transmute. You will have to close the menu and re open it by clicking on the machine.

Yes, I have everything required, as I said on my 1st post.

I will try those equiping and unequiping "tricks" and I'll edit my post afterwards. (like in 5m)

Edit: Afterall I didn't need to do anything... Apparently it was just some weird bug at that precise moment... Ah well...

haha lolZ I used to get so upset when that happened. I just pretty much kept unequipping and equipping tha same item.
If I can remember correctly, I was making the same item as u!
