can't quit?

everytime i logout of sk it freezes. i play through steam on a mac. even when i force quit the application will not shut down. steam will not shut down either. this only started happening recently. need a fix! also if i unistall sk will i lose my profile?

All character data is stored

All character data is stored on the server, so you won't lose anything important. If you look inside the spiral knights folder, does it have a pid####.log file in the main folder?

the log is generated by java

the log is generated by java if it crashes... so whatevers wrong, its not fully crashing. Try disabling the Steam overlay and see if it stops.
