It would be cool if there were a sniper riffle and crossbow where you only shoot 1 super fast firing bullet every say 3 seconds but it's super powerful. I could totally see a crossbow or a sniper gun having the piercing route too!
It would be cool if one of the guns had say a Tranquilizer dart route and it causes sleep on enemies or something!
I.e., it could have transition to an over the shoulder view, early corridor-shooter (think Doom, Wolfenstein, etc.) style with no Y-axis, in place of the charge attack. The only problem I see with this is the tweaks that would have to be made with the game engine itself to allow this.

LOL .. i was not thinking of it shooting any farther then your screen.. i was more thinking of it being a very powerful wep that you shoot every few secs 1 bullet..
I think the only problem with this is we have the same top down view all the time that would make any distance aiming horrible when they are below you, pretty meh when they are to the sides, even though it would be awesome if they were above you.
If we had over the shoulder camera or even a straight vertical view with a decent zoom out this would be awesome.
