How long have you been playing Spiral Knights? I have been playing spiral knights since August 2012.

How many runs do you do a day in T1 - T3? I play at the very least 1-2 runs each day on weekdays, and 2-5 runs each day on weekends.

How often do you play Spiral Knights? At the very least I play 1 hour each day on weekdays, and 2-6 hours each day on weekends.

Do you know anyone from our guild? (If yes, who?) No

Why do you want to join Eos? I would like to join echo of silence because I would like to join a guild with a safe, helpful, but fun community.

How Old are you (Optional)? I am 16 years old.

Are you anti-social? No I try to chat as much as possible with fellow guildies, friends, and random people.

Finally, tell us about yourself (Optional) I try to help as many players as I can who needs assistance with missions. My daily schedule includes beating up vana for his lunch money, and playing lockdown whenever I am bored or in the mood to murder some knights.

First and foremost: I am going to write a wall of text just to discourage you from reading this lame boring application.

What is your in-game-name?

Although everybody claims to be my alt (which is partly true) and the names "Ipwn-vana" and "Jsdrhipqwzlooa" are taken, Laylla is all I am left with.

Why do you want to join Eos?

Ahh I was actually willing to join either Wolver Adventures or Laylla of Laylla but a very bad thing happened to me. All I remember is that the weather on that day in SK was windy and laggy.
I was kinda tired/had a hangover or something even worse anyways I wrongchatted and I pasted a link to my embarassing pics into the trade chat

Obviously nobody was crazy enough to retype this long awful sequence of random symbols into his/her browser however some of EoS members did that and as a result I got loads of tells saying "you're gonna join us; otherwise we are determined to spam that link to every single knight in SK.” Hey what would you do if you were me?
But seriously, being secretly in love with one of EoS members has been my most traumatic and stressful experience in SK due to the fact that my "victim" has no idea about it (or maybe he does?!). I kill him in LD but he doesn’t whine. I've spent hours staring at him in Haven but he avoids every kind of eye contact with me! Heart of stone! Being in the same guild enables me to stalk him secretly and maybe one day I would come up and say "Hey ... I've got to tell you something"
Or maybe he should remain unaware of my deep infatuation? I don't know what I want, I am a woman! (but I can get mad if I don’t get it)

Reason 3: Joining EoS is my ultimate goal in this game apart from learning how to say "you're a noobish AA bomb spammer" in Spanish.

[Serious mode] EoS is the only guild I truly respect in this game, it's not only the aspect of keeping the number of members as low as possible due to quality requirements, but also because of EoS people themselves, each one of them is special, have personalities that stand out, great sense of humor, and yes.. that dirty mind which adds some vivid colors to one's life ("It doesn’t matter what you say or think I always associate it with <69."). I hope I can bring something good to that community (not only STDs) [/serious mode]

Are you anti-social?

I am trying to be as anti-social as I can. I spend most of my time in SK escaping from a bunch of stalkers, answering "lol" to anyone who dares to send me /tell message in game (no matter what they said) and bidding on random auctions (yes, it was me). If I start any run I do my best to get my party mates killed by throwing fire pots or shield bump monsters at them just to laugh and steal their heat.
In pvp I chase people till they lose their breath and force them to surrender. [serious mode on] I spend 95% of my time chatting to people, the other 5% is... well... bidding on random auction [/serious mode]

How many runs do you do a day in T1 - T3?

Sadly I dont do many runs. However, ocassionally I join a random t1 party full of scared and shaking new players just to help (watch) them (them die) to kill (and steal) all the monsters (their heat).
I spend most of my time chilling in Haven or sleeping in your bed in the Guildhall.

How often do you play Spiral Knights?

I try to play every night (/highfive insomnia) I don’t have any particular reason for playing. At the beginning and was fascinated by how marvelous SK's economy is, trying to figure out how it works in detail.
Then I sunk my teeth into guild management and after some time I found vana runs/LD (guild) granfausting entertaining. Now, I enjoy doing simple and totally random t1 runs. I wonder what will happen next.

Do you know anyone from our guild? (If yes, who?)

Yes I do (/pastes the member's list here) and most probably my name sounds familiar to you as well. Anyways I can still recall the moment when I saw Nj for the first time. That yellow personal color... that huge group of flies following him ... that cakehead smelling like a burnt potato carelessly covered with some cheap ketchup...
I was wondering ... "Is he paid for looking like this or what?". Then I started stalking him secretly and got to know other members of EoS.

Yes I do.. but I might be a little shy at the beginning and I don’t want to disturb Nj when he sings, (and he does it quite often; even the lack of knowing the lyrics doesn't seem to stop him from that) because when he sings, my heart melts.

What sweet delicious treats do you enjoy?

I must admit I haven't tried grilled bananas yet (another thing on my to-do list) and I am not keen on sugar based products (however alcohol is based on sugar, right?) . I prefer spicy stuff ... no ambiguity here... (hey are you still reading this lame application?)

Not enough options!
I would probably try to seduce him. If that didn’t work, I would find another way to steal his scrap-metals-and-general-goods generator.

Do you play Spiral Knights naked or in a towel?

Not enough options again. Actually I play in my ex boyfriend's shirt. I used to play naked but one day I realized that my webcam might accidentally be on and I freaked out. I stuck some duck tape over it so that I feel safer now (btw duck tape has so many strange uses but I am not going to mention them here). And yes I play in a towel. Also I happen to play with my feet (that’s how I scored my top damage in LD spamming Polaris charges).

How Old are you (Optional)?

Even though most of people in this game are deadly convinced that I am 69 I must admit I am not that old. However I can get all your sexual innuendos as well as serious discussions.

Finally, tell us about yourself (Optional)

I've been the head GM of Dark Guardians for over a year but now that DG's chat is all about necks, mugs and rock'n'roll and I've reached every goal being the GM, I am wondering how it is to be someone's minion.
I encountered some troubles though.

My life dilemmas are "what is love?" and this goddamn Pareto's principle. One day I will officially deny it!

Weird facts about Laylla:
Laylla is a bomber. She owns almost all 5* bombs. You never see her bombing though.
Laylla walks with mouse and she doesn't use the keyboard. The only button that's in use is "W".
The fact mentioned above also means that Laylla cannot use guns, because she can't spin while walking
Bad luck is Laylla's best friend. She often locks herself and the whole party in random places, so she can't reach even crappy mats and she keeps getting That bug.
Once, Laylla /ignored all the Game Masters just for fun. (It wasn’t funny though)
Don't open any box if Laylla's around, you'll get maid headbands or "nothing-bug-lol"
If you let Laylla join EoS, you'll all become her alts soon.
Laylla is the master of typos ("yay my a$$ tail is lvl 10 now!"), wrong chat, omg-I-clicked-join-instead-of-invite, trading proto stuff
If Laylla tries to arrange a Lockdown match, it will end Like this.
Laylla finds soloing things extremely boring. She never does solo runs. Never.

How long have you been playing Spiral Knights?

(lol you're almost done reading) I haven't got the slightest idea when I started playing SK. It could have been June or July ... or maybe September 2011. Some people say that I started playing SK for real in the moment I joined EoS. I must admit they're right.

Basement Terrors to Azukii (date 3 months since lockdown)

1st Message- I will leave these now to report on my sanity within Ojou-samas basement. I must retain my sanity if i am to return to serve my Ojou-sama.
2nd message (6.9 hours from the first)- I am starting to feel a sense of intense hunger within these chambers, I feel that Ojou-sama meant the best for me as she was punishing me for my actions for sleeping in her bed.

3rd Message (69.69 hours from the second)- I am beginning to starve painfully within my chambers. The ginger beads lines the walls of my chamber, yet i am allergic to them and Ojou-sama knows. I may need to overcome this allergy if i am to survive any longer.

4th Message (i don't remember the time, they sees to all be collecting into one universal locus of time)- I have consumed amply amounts of ginger beads, I feel my body slowly swelling in response to the consumption of it, but i must hang steady to conquer and make it back to my Ojou-sama.

5th Message (...)- I stand wearily at the only painting i have of Ojou-sama, a dirt and mud mural of Ojou-sama and I, barfing to our hearts content. I hold back my tears in shame as I know that i have shamed her so. The infinite supply of ginger beads is both unbearable and a blessing, for i know that Ojou-sama has left it for me.

6th Message- I am beginning to waiver in my fading belief that Ojou-sama will come and open the door to let me out. I still remember that out of her anger on me, she in fact broke the door knob off and boarded the door with my first present i bought her, a piece of plywood with my signature written in crayon and industrial grade tuna. I believe for a moment that she has forgotten about me, but I dismiss this fact, because out of my dedication and love of her I must not lose faith in my Ojou-sama.

7th Message- The rabid raccoons have been unleashed upon me. I have only a few shreds of clothing left, and i use that to cover my sensitive areas (my eyes and head). I woke up with several scratches and a large hole in my heart, I know my Ojou-sama has forgotten about me. I crawl into the fetal position and cry myself to sleep.

8th Message- The Basement has lost power, and i know not what the time is in the outside world. The gingerbeads have long since grown old and moldy, but I refuse to deny my Ojou-sama's food. Ojou-sama, I hope you can hear me.

9th- I come to the realization that i must escape from the loving prison. I managed to craft a spoon from a raccoon head that I salavaged from the basement, and I proceeded to dig. I will find you Ojou-sama and I will never leave you! (tune in next time to Blackies and Azukii's "MY Ojou-sama and Me"

How long have you been playing Spiral Knights?
We started back in the old days where 100 CE costed 2,300 CR, where Sprocket Rocket’s were gold and people with 3* gear were gods. I stumbled on this rare piece of game and just had to show it to Tea, although at first she was sort of neglecting it, we both fell to it’s charm in the first Proto Charge. So to.. Well you know, to actually answer your question, about 1 month after the official launch.

How many runs do you do a day in T1 - T3?
It all depends on the people online, lately it’s mostly been Boss Runs, about 2-3 per day but then again we’ve been in decently inactive guilds, so this number could definitely increase! Tea is pretty obsessed and I’m trying to suppress her so she can actually sleep. And not only T1-T3 but we also smash bombheads in Blast Network and get OUR heads smashed in Lock Down from time to time. It’s all about balance, I mean we can’t be awesome all the time!

How often do you play Spiral Knights?
It’s impossible to keep count, the endless hours of trying to sell that damn horrible UV’d gear and helping out friends in Shadow Lair. Tea would say that we play about as much as we spend time in bed together, we try to keep it 50/50, not counting in sleep or anything else in that equation.

Do you know anyone from our guild? (If yes, who?)
We know Njthug, then again who doesn’t? Extrajuicybits is also a friend of ours, Tea gave her entire wealth to him/her when we left the game (only to return a month later or so haha) and he/she was kind enough to give some back when we returned. Xairathan is someone Panda has been dealing with ever since the start of our Spiral Knights time, we used to be ”Dragon buddies” (Being one of the few idiots who actually had the Dragon armor.) Laylla is our previous Guild Master, we have quite the long past with her, shared our grudges and laughs together! Especially Tea & Laylla, having their perverted minds collide causing mind-blowing all over the place.

What is your in-game-name?
Mister-Panda & Miss-Tea. Since we retired from our old knights called; Armedpanda & Teaparty.

Why do you want to join Eos?
Wanting is such a strong word...... No haha but really, we’re looking for a social, fun community and our long path has led us to this Guild, seeing as it seems to be one of the few ones that actually have real fun!

How Old are you (Optional)?
Long time ago, in a galaxy faaar far away.... No but yeah ugh.. We’re 19. And yes Luke, i am your father and all o’ that. (Huge star wars fans ofcourse)

Yes, we wouldn’t mind using mumble, we both have mics. And we do love to share our opinions and voices with people of other cultures, worlds and we have a pretty long history using Skype etc with Spiral friends.

I would do none of these, I would strangle him with a bunch of confetti and Tea would yell at him, screaming that he should open that damned Core once and for all!

Not in the slightest, at all. We love to [scrap]-chat with everyone, trying to make them as uncomfortable as possible. Most of the time we succeed, until we clash with like-minded crazies such as Laylla.

Tea likes to take a whiff of the Cootiecakes all over Haven, and Panda enjoys the Extrajuicybits of some Jelly Queen.

We ”play” it naked, with a towel under us for the comfortable feeling, is that.. Not how everyone ”plays” it?

Oh where to start...
We are a couple, been dating for over 2 years, I brought Tea into gaming and this time around she’s playing more than I do. We recently graduated, leaving ourself to the horrid unemployment that is our best friend at the moment, who’s obviously trying it’s best to keep us from getting real work, since none is being offered. We drown our sorrow in Haven 1, trying out the trading market, where at least someone is always interrested in what we have to offer. We’re a (obviously) perverted couple, so get used to extremely lovely uncomfortable conversations when we’re around, Tea is especially good at this! So yeah.. We’ve been bonking Gremlins since Day 1 almost, and will continue to do so until the end! If you have anything else you want to know, don’t be afraid to ask us, we only bite a little!

These short apps warm my heart, makes it so much easier to decline you.

Being a former officer of Knightmare the aspect I enjoyed most was reading applications. Please put some effort into your app, give me something to read at work. I can only talk you up so much. Give me effort and I will give you the same.

Not every great app will be accepted for various reasons, but the more insight you give us the better, this helps us to determine how you'll fit into EoS.

I started playing spiral knights with irl friends. They invited me to play with them mid January 2012. They didn't like the game as much and quit before we reached t2 D:

At the moment, barely any. I used to grind runs as it was fun but I slowly became a merchant.

At the moment, I just come on to chat, sell my gear off and possibly do one run.

I don't ve a mic, actually I do've a brand new one, but it never worked, I refuse to pay for another. Also you don't wanna hear a strong french accent.

Is he the dev with the bush icon? I just wanna ask him if he designed bushes, why put a probability to get cr out of them? I always felt forced to destroy all the bushes since I started the game....

I live with all my family in the same room, we're ten, so no, I play dressed, all of them play sk, can they apply too?

I tend to take the game easy most of the times but I sometimes can rage very bad for meaningless things. I quit this game ten times already, if not more, and started from scratch everytime since I always give away my stuff everytime. I'm about to quit again, I'll be back in two weeks no worries.

I'm not a good player. I had a newbie friend, two weeks ago I told him I'll carry him through Jk and beat the boss for him. I failed, he revived me and I died again, we went both up since we had no more mist for a second ce revive. I think he unfriended me too, so ungratefull. The other day I felt badass after finishing all of my missions and tryed a t3 arena on solo. I died on the first wave, greavers, revived, died again, went up, realized how bad I was. This is sadly a true story.

I like trolling around during runs when in a good mood. These days I just unfreeze Vanaduke on purpose and watch blitzers get smacked. Although I die most of the time from trying to kill the team and the worst part they get off safe and sound from my attempts, actually not even noticing them. These moments are sow depressive.

You will almost never see me play lockdown, mostly because I'm just terrible at it. I'll jump on a BN game now and then (like once a week).

About loyalty, if your guild is what it seems to be, I sure will never move out.

1. How long have you been playing Spiral Knights?
I've been playing Spiral Knights ever since I made my Steam Account and found that to be the first interesting game in the 'poplular' list. Total gameplay lays around 73 days. You see, I waited way to long before filling in this application!

2. How many runs do you do a day in T1 - T3?
I play untill I drop! Unless I run out of my daily Mist Energy, but since I have 3 alternative accounts with seprated Mist Energy it's most likely that I'll drop when finished. Most of my runs are T3 King of Ashes runs (For grinding so I can blow it on accesories), and sometimes also Jelly King and The Twins. But these are just because I'm dreadfully bored, or helping friends out.

3. How often do you play Spiral Knights?
Well, since I'm considered a Compuer Nerd - Game Addict - "Nolifer", I try to waste all my Mist Energy every single day! There are only a few reasons I am mayby not able to play for a day.

4. Do you know anyone from our Guild? (If yes, who?)
Yes! I know Kagisnad, a very close friend, running only with her. And Mupmup... Erm, Muppet, who I experienced as a very good and challenging player!

5. What's your in-game-name?
Nimdalo. Or Livinio, Mellathiel, Lathoriel, Demiane and some other names.

6. Why do you want to join Echo Of Silence?
Because Impervious doesn't feel as a safe and friendly home-base anymore. And of course because Kagi is there! I don't have interests in other Guilds. I have been thingking about Unity, Jempire, Solo Art, Flawless... But Unty is fading away, I don' like the Jemps overall, Solo Art kinda means no communication with anyone and Flawless is just not my place. Out of all the current guilds, I have heard and believe EoS to be the warmest one in which I am most likely to have fun and find great people, so I wish to join you.

7. How old are you (Optional)?
I'm 17 years old.

8. Eos does have mumble would you feel comfortable using it (Yes or No *add if you have a mic* this does not hurt your application)?
I would feel comfortable. Speaking with everyone creates friendships, and I have a special gaming headset (High quality mic, so you won't have to worry about buzzing sound). I have a funny accent tough... But I can speak English and I'm not uncomfortable using it!

9. If you saw Boswick in game would you poke him hug him or yell at him?
I think I would yell: Come here you!! Then hug him until his spine is cracking, and then poke him. I'll be searching for you Boswick. Better doze off with one eye open!

10. Are you anti-social?
I do not think so! I love chatting with people I like. Staying up all night long to help someone? No problem. And I answer to everyone who has questions, but since I'm just me, I may fail explaining what you want me to!

11. What sweet delicious treats do you enjoy?
Everything I can eat, nom, drink, lick (that does not sound good at all)! And then there is my problem, when my suger level is too low, wich happens fast, I can pass out easily. Basically I NEED candies!

12. Do you play Spiral Knights naked or in a towel?
Well, most of the time I wear a towel trouser thingy, I don't want anyone to come in when I have nothing on you know. But when I'm playing naked, I'll be suspicous of every sound. Wich means I'll be dying alot and wasting my time and everything... I love my trouser thingy!

13. Finally, tell us about yourself (Optional)
I live in The Neterlands, eastern part. Back with my parents we moved 2 times, then they divorced and I moved with my mother, little sister and my little brother. Then we moved again since my mother and step dad had enough money to buy a better house. And then I went, like we all do here, on myself -- but with a roommate. That's my real life in a nutshell.
Now about my gaming! I've been gaming since I was able to hold a controller! I started with small things like Roblox... But then stepped up to RPG and played that for a while. Then FPS kicked... Erm 'shot' in, I started feeling things for Quake Live, and later on for Call of Duty & Battlefield etcetra. After getting a little bored of these games I bough myslf an xBox and played a lot of Final Fantasy and oter things like that. I got a laptop for school and there it started for real, MMORPG kicked in. I can't stop playing now! But I still want a GameCube to re-live my early gaming days. Zelda and such! If the world ended my whole life was in one word: GAMING and I do not regret it, I can name several things why gaming is in fact healthy! Overall I am a man who will try to help everybody, with whatever they need. I enjoy having fun, chatting with my friends and playing games of course. A real Gamer, noone will take that from me! Oh, I must not forget, I enjoy playing Lockdown a lot! I do not wish to brag, but I believe my skills are, if not more, decent, as I usually get the top damage in my games.

A:i started playing around christmas break... im kinda new to this spiral knights thingie, a friend at school told me about it and i thought it was great..

A: okay, I live in the US, yet my family is migrate every several years, i was born in washington state, then when i was 7 we moved to colorado, when i was age 11, we moved to california, at 14, we moved to texas, where i live today in a small town called waco.. its small but most of the civillians are quite friendly.. as you may see i was also born with autism and ashbergers, having to be in a BIG world with a person with problems, its kinda not that good at my days of california at age 11-13, i was a small punching bag to most of the bullies, they gave me wedgied, and they do many bad things to me.. and i hate it, yet i have to get my facts straight and ignore them, but because of my ashbergers, i do more action than words... so yep thats me

Ya know, Dale, I'm not sure EoS is going to accept someone who took all of our SL mats from the treasury and then applied to join another guild. I mean, you might do the same thing to them too, ya know? Perhaps you'd like to return those, since they weren't yours, before you go applying to another guild, hmm?

[edit: repaid 60k for 200k in mats? nice. EoS: I normally don't get involved in this sort of thing, but I wouldn't go anywhere near this guy. Sorry post #1500 goes to a bummer]

[edit2: 60k + 75k has never equalled 250k. Especially not when it takes this much effort to get back what wasn't yours to begin with. ~good luck to you, I'm out.]

Well.. what he did is what he did. The record still stain his hands. A normal fair person would pay for the mats, etc. as soon as he can before leaving, in crowns or in mats. But now what he did - he abused the storage without any payback UNTIL cornered. And still, what he paid back was not nearly enough for what he took. That is shameful and Low. I strongly recommend to consider 9 times before accepting this application.
