I find Echo of Silence an active guild which is composed of mature and fun members. I heard that this guild lives for a long time already, years to be exact which I believe that unity, bonds and friendships are within this guild that's why It doesn't die at all. Being a part of this guild will be a great pleasure.

-How Old are you (Optional)?

Yes, we use ventrilo on Jempire so I'm comfortable with this as well.

Not really, but I'm against beggars.

I started playing when Spiral Knights came to Steam a few years ago.

2. What do you mostly do on Spiral Knights?
Aside from hanging around and chatting with other knights, I enjoy romantic walks through the Firestorm Citadel and candle-lit danger missions. I also have a secret love of Tier 1 Lockdown.

I like this guild's style. I need a group of friends to play with that are just as likely to take on a shadow lair as they are to get drunk on Mumble and prance around Haven in silly costumes.

Mumble is great and I have a mic.

For every piece of relevant information I have stored away in my brain, there is an additional two to four that are totally useless.

Hmm well, I started a few months after the game was officially released, but I was inactive for a long time. I think I came back somewhere in the early months of 2012.

2. What do you mostly do on Spiral Knights? (PVE? Vana runs? Lockdown? etc)
Merchanting, idling in Haven, Lockdown, sometimes PvE but not very often unless I'm asked to.

Njthug (The Prismatic Knight), Dottir, Silly-But-Cute, Digicom, Urta, Stephanys, Shuichi, Sconesy, Gwenyvier, Bad-Badger (I hate him because he keeps licking me though. D:<), Uncosung, Jester-Gtr (Oh the great artist. o3o), Retequizzle, Valyryx, and probably a few more whom I forgot. o.o

4. What guilds have you been a part of?
I've been in many guilds, but the ones I stayed most in (and liked) are, Professional, Valkyrie Knights, Sexy Knights and Extra Flirty Bits. <3

My In-Game Name is Revolutional.

6. Why do you want to join Eos?
There are a few reasons, but they are personal. But mainly, because of the good things I've heard about the guild and their members. <3 (Also, Dottir and Urta wants me to join. >.<)

I prefer to keep my age a secret. Thanks. :p (Although a few people already know my age.)

As I'm a shy person (If you don't know me at first.), I don't really like to communicate with others via Voice unless I feel comfortable around them. Voice Chatting isn't really my thing though. Sorry. >.< But yes, I do have a mic.

I'll patiently wait for your answer, since I'm going to stay Guildless for a long time.

Trolling? Well it isn't really needed if I communicate with everyone sarcastially. :p

Anti-Social? Hmmm, I'd say yes if you do not know me at first. But when I get comfortable and friendly with you, no, I'm not Anti-Social. :)

Echos are never silent as echos is a sound which is created by reflecting off a wall or object.

Well, I'm just friendly towards others who're friendly. I try not to hate/argue with people as it really isn't my thing. But if I feel that it's necessary, I would do it. Spiral Knight is the game I play most. I rarely touch other games, other than games on my 3DS. o3o

Mostly PvE, hanging around in front of AH and merchanting. Vana bored me to death.

I’m looking for a stable and active guild. Over the year I’ve seen the destruction of so many guilds that it’s hard to see another one go. Besides, Miso insisted that I try out for EoS a couple of times before so I think “why not.” The guild members seem pretty cool and appreciate trolling like me :D

I’m 22.

I'm just so used to the steam forum and the seriousness of being a moderator that coming on here and reading some of the things you say is alien to me XD. I was part of several guild none of which I remember the names of though. My fond memories have always been with EOS. I've contributed a decent amount to the guild in the past and will continue to support it <3

One simply shouldn't want to join EOS, one should need it. It has been one of the things that keeps me coming back. The people in the guild, starting with the veteran+ members and even the new recruits. This guild is handcrafted perfection among the realms of the clockworks.

I don't judge my snipes by their color, they are equally as beautiful as each other.

I love my Italian pastries!!! Big foodie so indulge in all the good stuff... Also ferraro rocher is liquid gold.

Commando is the only way to go... Does not restrict mobility and allows the boys to breathe :)

I used to be a very active player in EOS. I think at one point even a veteran or officer. Real Life caught up to me and unfortunately had to leave SK for a while. I am actively performing for the Wanted Ashiqz, a Bollywood fusion dance troop infusing contemporary, hip hop, and Bollywood gimmick styles of dance to be awesome (Yes I can twerk!). I am an aid at a physical therapist clinic (What I am studying to become). Currently a Grad Student at Suny Downstate working to get my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (I know how to massage). I DJ a couple times a month at some of NYC's biggest nightclubs. I'm a busy body, however I do enjoy SK and hope I can enjoy it with you awesome peepz :D

A) Out of all the guilds out there, Eos always has seemed to me as a friendly casual escape, a place i could have some fun, hang out, make new friends etc. Your high reputation combined with your prestigious players makes it the perfect guild :D

How long have you been playing Spiral Knights? I'm not playing this game but all my life game played me, I'm just mere pet in its hands. And now it brought me back to find new comrades in place of the fallen ones that never returned from the battlefield...

What do you mostly do on Spiral Knights? (PVE? Vana runs? Lockdown? etc) I don't make any choices, I just follow the orders and just do what I have to. But if you want to know, I have rich experience of different sort of operations: infiltration and assassination, coordination of sabotage campaigns and brainwashing, worming myself into target's confidence and manipulation, bribing. In other words, I'm the handyman and can make any of your wishes come true.

Do you know anyone from our guild? (If yes, who?) It's a secret and it'll be too late when you get to know who is on my side already.

What guilds have you been a part of? Impervious and it'll be always part of me. That's where I've learned everything I know.

Our senses are continually bombarded with information, our brains have developed a mental framework to help us home in on the sights, sounds and other stimuli that it deems most important. So we never know the real story but if we try hard, we can get to know just a little bit more. Truth always slips away and my choice - just to let it be.

It varies a lot. I like to preplan what I want to accomplish for the day I log in. I do chat with others when given the chance!

I may have bought something from Njthug a while back during some promo.
What guilds have you been a part of?
Sakura Empire was the first guild I joined. Was pretty friendly and an interesting experience. Then there was Wall-Running-Syndrome in which we ran into walls the entire time... quite the guild it was. Then my personal favorite was Valiant Status. A relatively small guild but some of the best people I got to talk to. In time the guild became very inactive sadly, but still talk to the owner on Steam. Currently I'm in Draco of Dusk, but personally do not care for it much. There's a whole history about that guild I could get into.
What is your in-game-name?
Rionaka is my main, but sometimes I hop on to Mr-Miggles.
Why do you want to join Eos?
A new adventure and new memories. Some laughs, some tears, some sexy shows; all in the name of good and happiness. I enjoy meeting new people and messing around with some for [scraps] and giggles (bringing a Grim Totem to the arena in Vana).

I have been playing spiral knights for roughly 2-3 years(unsure of the exact time frame, I can tell you I got 101 days of playing the game which were collected over the years)

I mostly do Lockdown however I also do my fair share of PVE too(usually prestige, Shadow Lair or any boss run though)

If it would be within lockdown it would probably involve me using some sort of annoying weapons to troll people from EoS.

Trouble with the Hardware

Haiya fellow echoes,

as the subject of the reply says; I'm having trouble with my hardware. By that I mean that my laptop gave up on me, windows shuts itself down because of an unknown error en the vent broke so it is also overheating when on for longer than 5 minutes. If it's giving me the error code because of that I'll have to ask the guys at work if they have something fitting for my old Dell Inspiron. What I'm doing right now is making a backup of everything on there and reinstalling windows completely. This is mainly because this way I can access my work for school again. If reinstalling window doesn't work I'll either have to find replacement for the vent or wait 8 more weeks for my (small) work laptop to arrive. Little unfortunate on the first of April, Dell is pulling a bad prank...

Right now I've got nowhere to log myself in to Spiral Knights, and I'm in the middle of my fourth period of tests. After this just one more to finish the year! Anyways, really wanted to let you guys know that I'm still alive and still an Silent Echo. If I have to wait those 8 weeks, I'll keel you guys updated; if not, then you guys will see me online in a week to play with you guys again!

- About 3 years give or take a few months.
2)What do you mostly do on Spiral Knights? (PVE? Vana runs? Lockdown? etc)
- I do a little bit of both, but mostly LD nowadays. If i really need money ill do like 20+ vanas,etc.
3)Do you know anyone from our guild? (If yes, who?)
- Yes i do. Some good friends are Urta and Luthieny. Oh and there's doitytoiletpaper( idk what his name is anymore). XD
4)What guilds have you been a part of?
- I've been a part of The-Jempire, Rigorous, Ultra, Twenty-One, First Blood,Impervious, WolfPack Party, etc. ( Mostly LD guilds that died and another one popped up.)

- Monsterdestroyer.
6)Why do you want to join Eos?
- I would like to join EOS because i have some great friends there and i would like to join them and perhaps meet other people :D. In addition you guys have Voice Chat Programs that enable you to communicate with each other and i really like that :D. At this point, I'm looking for a fun bunch of players who i can be myself around, etc and have fun doing it.

- I would be more than comfortable using it. I have a mic but its ehh( built in laptop ones.) But communication is great so i wouldn't mind that at all.

- I would most likely ask Urta if something is up with the apps,etc. but i can wait if i have to.

- Hmm maybe tell someone they would get 69 cr every time they press alt+F4 lol.

- Nope. I enjoy socializing with others.

- Umm I haven't seen any lol. So i guess none, but I could be wrong.

- I play shirtless sometimes in the summer but yeah... I'm not the only one in the house..

- Hmm in most movies the echoes are loud... So i guess no.

- I like playing basketball a lot [ #BALLISLIFE! ]. I'm from New Jersey. This is the only videogame I play XD. I'm funny and I'm still in High School. O.o

Placing My App Down

"1. How long have you been playing Spiral Knights?"

According to my Steam, I have played this game for almost 1,500 hours total, and I'm STILL scratching my head on why and how I come back for more.

"2. What do you mostly do on Spiral Knights? (PVE? Vana runs? Lockdown? etc)"

I'm just gonna say right now that PvE is my bread-and-butter! To the point where i've soloed almost every single level in the game! (WITH minimal deaths, before you ask!) ...Aside from the Shadow Lairs. Too expensive to experiment. And Solo-ing Heart of Ice is more up to whether or not I'm lucky enough to gather up healing items and not being pummeled by snowballs rather than knowing how to coast through it with utmost efficiency. Devilites, and fiends in general, are my kryptonite. ...With that said, though, anything for me is fair game! FSC? Compound 42? Snarbolax? Mister Seerus? I can get through it myself, and i'd be happy to drag someone through it as long as they're cooperative! Suffice to say, I pretty much SPECIALIZE in PvEing.

While I'm a self-proclaimed specialist in PvE in alot of aspects, I'm gonna say right now that I absolutely SUCK at PvP. If it's Blast Network, i'll say that lagspikes, a limited range of view, and my general disinterest in it bogs me down. And my playstyle does NOT transfer well into Lockdown, among several other factors that drive me away from those PvP games, but i'll keep my reasons short for now. Bottom line, i'm not a PvP guy. At all. Nothing against those games personally, they're just not for me. I'm all PvE, if anything.

"3. Do you know anyone from our guild? (If yes, who?)"

I'm... afraid I don't know anybody inside of EoS, which, at the same time, fills up a side inside of me with anticipation on WHAT kind of people run around in the guild...! I hear about a lot of interesting people coming and going-- Err--- Assuming, that by the off chance that I DO make it in, generally speaking, of course~

"4. What guilds have you been a part of?"

A fair share of small-to-moderately sized ones, but a few that deserve mention are Tectonic, Aurora, and Shapeless.

"5. What is your in-game-name?"

Reavereavs, of course!

"6. Why do you want to join Eos?"

Honestly, I want to join EoS out of SHEER curiosity. I want to see if I have what it takes to enter a guild like Echoes of Silence and see what happens from thereon. EoS certainly has quite the reputation, and I really want to explore if I somehow manage to fit in a guild like that or if it's a bust. Maybe meet a fair share of new, yet renowned people here-and-there, gather up some inspiration, ideas, or possibly new buddies from being around there, wanting to see everything that goes on inside, proving that I can, et cetera. All of my reasons boil down to curiosity. And whether or not it'll kill me in the end has yet to be seen.

"7. How Old are you (Optional)?"

I'm old enough to be in college, to give a vague hint. I like giving vague hints, for whatever reason.

Sure thing, if need be. I've used mumble several times in other guilds, and i'm, for the most part, comfortable with using it on very, VERY special occasions. I'll admit, i'm a better writer than typer, but if there's a special time where we can all speak up, then i'll be happy to pop on. Depends on the situation, really.

"9. What do you do if we don't respond to your app within a few days?"

Either occasionally check back here, give a word to the few people who monitor these applications ingame, or shrug it off, thinking that anything could happen, and i'm satisfied that I at least tried to give my app a whirl. I ain't gonna make a scene about it!

"10. Tell us how you would troll someone in Eos?"

Going back to the "vague hints" thing I mentioned earlier, among other things, I think I can figure something out, given my writing. Depends on the situation, too.

You callin' me a sociopath? Callin' me a psychopath? Talk about a snap judgement, but I guess that's the bread-and-butter of EoS!

Obscure psychology joking aside, I can't say that i'm... ANTI-social. I do enjoy chatting when the mood and weather is right, and all, but i'll be clean here, i'm an introvert. Like I said, i'll chat on and on and on and on and on if i'm feeling ab-so-lute-ly PERFECT, but I'm not exactly one to do something like that day in and day out. It'd quickly exhaust me. There are days where i'll enjoy a good chat, but days where I want to keep it to myself. I'm not PRO-social, but i'll never be a jerk about it, though.

"12. How many (regular) black snipes are in Sk?"

Don't snipes and their colors randomly generate from some algorithm that I don't know about around SK? Along with how the games INTERPRET black snipes in game, like, looking like a deep-dark-navy-bluish color or something? I'm no programmer and I may be talking out of my bum here, but.... don't the number of black snipes around those parts change every single day?

...Unless, if it's some obscure question asked in the vein of anticipating nearly EVERYBODY missing where there IS a set number of black snipes around in certain parts somewhere. Then, well.... er.... it wasn't in the book, I didn't know I had to study for THAAAT! Don't penalize me....

"13. What sweet delicious treats do you enjoy?"

What sweet delicious treats DON'T I enjoy~? Cookies, Ice Cream, Good Games, Lips of a Lovely Lady, they're all fair game for me! <3 ESPECIALLY the last one! The good games. Wondrous eye candy. ...Don't judge me.

"14. Do you play Spiral Knights naked or in a towel?"

I like to play Spiral Knights in the buff. I love to let it alllllllll hang out. Makes me feel BEAUTIFUL!

"15. Are Echoes really silent?"

That's starkly dependent on context. It depends on WHAT type of echo it is, WHERE it came from, and at what decibel it was probably cranked out of, theoretically speaking. Echoes MAY be silent, but have your ears ever picked it up in the first place to know it's there? It's kind of a subjective mystery partially based around perception, if you ask me.

"16. Finally, tell us about yourself (Optional)"

I am a no-nonsense, conflicted, sensitive, innocent, socially awkward robot that swallowed a philosophical encyclopedia, has a spurious passion for writing, and aspires to become a doctor someday! Thoughts in my mind change every day, depending on every single factor that makes a day a day, and, like the wave of life, I am also ever changing... with all that said, people tend to think i'm a decent guy, more or less. Feel free to ask them. Or don't. Up to you. I don't bite. Promise. Pinkyswear.
