Just checking to see exactly how this works. I know the Mad Bomber Suit/Mask has a 2xMedium damage bonus, and that there is a 3xMedium cap on UVs. What I'm unsure about is whether a Damage Bonus UV vs Construct for my bomb fits into the "Damage Bonus" category that is boosted by the Mad Bomber gear. Basically, I'm wondering whether a High or Very High UV would be a waste in this situation.

Well if you have a very high bonus vs all and a maximum bonus vs beast (arbitrary example) then some of your beast would be wasted. Not shure if that's what you were going for but, that's how I interpreted it.

If you're using full Mad Bomber gear, high or very high damage bonus on your bomb is indeed wasted. However, having the very high would allow you to reach max damage bonus against constructs with a volcanic demo helm instead of the mad bomber, allowing you to be somewhat safer against enemies that inflict status effects, especially fire.
