Soooo I'm a bit confused. The wiki says "All knights in an adventuring party will be offered the same recipe list." Does that mean if I buy a recipe, the stock goes to zero for the other knights in my party?

Everyone in the party will
Everyone in the party will see exactly the same list of recipes available. Only players who joined at least two depths before Basil will have the option to buy the recipes, though, and those characters will only have the option to buy one. To answer your question directly, one player buying a recipe from Basil has no effect on whether other players can buy the same recipe.
I think it means that the rest of the party see the exact same recipes as you see in Basil's "shop".
