I was wondering what is considered a good shield for a pure bomber running full Mad Bomber set, and four bombs.

His choice, which happens to also be my personal favorite for bombing, is the exceptionally popular Grey Owlite Shield.
The only time I'm bombing and not using a Grey Owlite Shield is if I'm in a T3 Fiend strata, in which case I use a Dread Skelly Shield.

The Grey Owlite Shield stuck
The Grey Owlite Shield stuck out the most from looking at the shields on the wiki, but i was also thinking of the Scarlet Shield for extra health.
Thoughts on the Scarlet Shield?

As a bomber you don't need a shield often. For those occasions where you unexpectedly get trapped (or lag out) and suddenly need to shield, you'll want one that can take a beating. Anything that ends at 3* isn't going to have enough shield health to last more then 1-2 hits in T3. In T2 though, this shield would probably be just fine, it is a shame that it is a dead end shield though.

i use a scarlet shield when bombing(if i remember switching shields), but id suggest going with owlite or anything else that has over 50% health bar filled(preferably cheap)
scarlet is pretty ok, but on t3 it breaks quick >.<
Whichever one provides the most protection for the stratum theme you're entering.
