Shield didnt regenerate

I got totally screwed by this, I was on a tier 3 ice arena, not only I have trouble there because despite having an grey owlite shield a freeze lumber hit does a whole lot of damage and freezes me regardless of shield, on another run I had my shield just decided to stay broken, which meant real trouble (I only carry a sword, not rich enough to buy another weapon yet like a bomb or at least a good gun, my frost gun does pitiful damage). I could still shield bump, but I had to stay out of attack range at all times because the shield didn't absorb damage. Needless to say I died on a lag spike.
While I am at it, maybe it is just the lumber problem I said but I assumed the ice would break if I got hit with the shield up, but didn't. which meant getting hit by them was death after I used all my restoration pills (because like I said even if I shield the hit I still get frozen).

Submit a Ticket
There is currently a glitch with the shields and when that happens, you should immediately submit a ticket before continuing with the level so you won't die and a GM would be able to come in to help you (if it's during their work hours). I and several of our guild's members experienced this "shield bug" too.
Fortunately it was in T1 arenas, so we were just fine without shields, but anyway.

Some of my guildmates had
Some of my guildmates had this problem on a FSC run. Petitioning GMs worked, the GM was able to restart them where they left off by zipping through levels. This happened a couple of weeks ago, so this isn't a new bug.

you're in tier 3 and you don't have a gun, the shield isn't your only problem.

I solo tier 3 all the time
I solo tier 3 all the time with my trusty sword and shield thank you, except of course when the shield stops working in that case I can solo it if no lag kills me but that's difficult, thats not to say a strong gun (the one I carry is the frost gun, deals 8-11 damage) or bomb would definitely help me in that specific fight. The regular lumbers I can manage, and the other ones too because I got resists for them. But the frozen lumbers are OP for me. I can deal somehow though, because I carry the restoration pills in advance.
How do you submit a ticket? i just ragequit when I died :( In any case submitting a ticket wouldn't have helped because I was in an arena, which meant there was no way to "pause" the game.
It was a stratum 6 ice construct/gremlin arena, I had about four lumbers, two gremlin bombers, two freeze retrodes and two menders on my tail all the time. The bomber got me killed because I was running north with the bomber to my right, advanced a block, then the game returned me half a block and put the bomber in front of me, and the lumber that was behind me was charging already, no time for shield, no pills, -> frozen, health pills take too long and won't thaw me anyway, then dead.
My shield didn't break I think, but maybe it did and the white everywhere made the broken shield (due to the bug) look to me as full by glancing quickly, then I realized it was broken beyond repair later when I kept getting hit. Once I got frozen by a retrode, and had a lumber in range, I thought no way I'm getting hit by that, and had two options, take the pain or raise my shield. I thought the ice would break if I got hit with my shield up, lose the shield but run without damage. But no, when I got hit, I remained frozen, and swarmed because I wasn't fighting just a lumber, so either this is normal and as such should be changed I think, because you only have a max of three pills to cure freeze, and if you go solo you dont have a party member to help you out, or the lumber froze me through my shield.
But those frozen lumbers break my shield on one hit (clean break, no health damage) which makes them a bit op I guess. My shield was unheated though, maybe it can withstand at least one hit by level five, I hope. The regular, or fire lumbers I fight don't though.

Shield Bug!
I was also running FSC when I was struck by the shield bug. Fortunately, it happened while I was fighting through a zombie only section, so I was able to cope until it started working again. I tried throwing vials, using capsules and so on. I was not able to determine if any of my efforts made a difference but I was certainly glad when my shield finally came back to full strength.

I got it from joining someone as soon as they hit "go solo". I loaded the level twice, but no sheild. I rejoined him and he said he was soloing for mats, but my sheild was still down. So he hit go solo. Then I invited Mtv and his sheild was broken.

Did the Lumber break through your shield when it froze you? Or were you standing in a dead Ice Cube's freeze cloud? Those gas clouds, including the ones from Greavers, bypass shields.
