Since you can poison vana
Lowering his attack and defense (I did 20% more damage almost. 15-20%) does this make the dread striker viable for use against him? It's been working well for me.

Recently I have been practicing with an interesting tactic. It is more viable during stage 3 but is also doable stage 5. And with the forward momentum from Dread Venom Striker it could be more viable.
I have been doing this with Glacius myself. I put out one fireball and then wait til the empty space comes around again where I move to the position, and then continually attack once, shield cancel, rotate as far as possible and do it again.
During stage 3 it is practically harmless since you will avoid his forward strikes and if he dashes you'll get out unharmed. And being closer to Vanaduke helps to dodge his dash anyway.
During stage 5 it can be somewhat dangerous since the dash might make his outer balls hit you, but maybe it's possible to put those out or something.

Lolz. You made that sound wrong and odd gemini.

"Since the dash may make his outer balls hit you, but maybe it's Possible to pit those out or something." LOL
no the venom striker would be great actually cos in both phases if ur team manages to put out all the fireballs and u just keep attacking him and keep him poisoned constantly, then his balls wont regenerate. Usually u need everyone to have 3 poison vials to do this strat well but dread venom might be really good for this
LOL. It's soooo late over here. Reading your post made me crack up soo hard haha... I need some sleep..
just 1 thing i wana say regarding this..good luck with that^^
Watch out when trying to poison vanaduke, his balls are dangerous, and his sword is too big XD
Great balls of fire!!!
You could always try with the new Toxic Catalyzer series, if you don't want to worry about getting splattered in the attempt. Probably work better in groups of two or more, as well, so that one person could just try to keep him poisoned while the other lays down the DPS.
You're going to have a hard time hitting him on stage 3 and 5 unless you are some sort of ninja.
