I just logged back in after a while. Lots of new stuff! There's some old things that bug me that I'm going to write down before I forget again.
- I'd like to be able to see if I know a recipe before I buy it from a vendor. I've collected a lot of dupes this way.
- I'd like to be able to see what a recipe requires before I buy it, so I can buy recipes for gear that I already have the equipment for.
- It would be nice if powerful swords like the Khorovod broke crystals in two hits. It's tedious to go through a crystal field with weapons that do two attacks to a combo.
- The charge attack animation on the Khorovod just feels too slow and unresponsive, especially after I spent all that time building a charge. It's a double cost for a not-that-great attack that leaves you very vulnerable.

Known / unknown recipes
I didn't even know this until just now, but regarding point #1: The tooltip on the vendor's recipes will display either "Known Recipe" or "New Recipe".
So that's done.

Wiki!
The wiki is shaping up to be a helpful tool for knowing what's in a recipe before you buy it. Just put the item's name at the end of wiki.spiralknights.com/ and you'll find it more often than not. If you don't find it that way, use the list here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Category:Equipment
Also, if you want to see what a material you have can be used for, you can visit its page (list here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Category:Crafting_materials ) and use the "what links here" button in the toolbox on the left. That'll give you a list of all the recipes it's used in.

I completely missed the
I completely missed the "known recipe" text at the top. Thanks. Now I can look for it one by one, but it would be cool if I could filter the merchant list by known recipes.
The wiki is great, and I like Dwarf Fortress and everything, but I'd rather not have to play with it open.

Crystal breaking can be so tedious if I decide not to bring a fast weapon with me.
