After reading through all of the complaining posts I find that no one actually makes a good argument when complaining. Like was posted earlier, I will take a Max Fire UV over 3 low UVs. I think 3 UVs will only be actually good if you get at least one medium resist in them, otherwise I will take a item with a medium UV over a item with 3 low UVs.
I like the update, as expensive as it may be, the idea of getting off getting a extremely rare triple UV is cool. Also I like how expensive the unbind is. Ensures we won't have a absolute ton of people selling Vog armor.
Also I think it helps all of the people complaining about CE prices. Here is your big crown sink you have so badly wanted!

Better items come out as time passes. This happens with every MMORPG. You wasted your money trying to get the "best" gear if you wanted it to be the best forever.

I believe you got your "$2,000" you were promised for the "work" you did. So, OOO did live up to their end of the "contract". However, as with anything, deflation hits immediately. Your $2,000 investment will never hold that value, as newer, better things will always come in to take their place. I know why you're frustrated, as I've been in your place many times before in every other "free to play" game that I've been involved with. That's why I now take the stance that when I play a "free to play" game, it absolutely will stay free to me, as the returns on your money lose value the instant you put it into the game. The only time I now invest my real money into these types of games is if I see the game with real future potential and as a way of saying "thank you" to the developers for creating a new, fun experience for gamers. I never expect my money to be useful to myself for any long term use in game.
