I'm not exactly a new player anymore, but I don't consider myself extremely experienced yet. So I was wondering if some fine chaps could give my current loadout a little critique.

My Current Equipment Consists of:

Armor:
Brute Jelly Helm
Dark Thorn Shield UV Shadow DEF Low
Virulisk Suit

Weapons:
Silent Nightblade
Blizzbrand UV Charge Time Reduction Medium (plus its own natural Medium Charge Reduction at Lv 10)

I already know that this set has a severe lack of Elemental and or Shadow Defense for Tier 3, but I know I am not ready for it. The Virulisk Suit was a found armor, so I did not have a choice on this part. (Skipping from 2 star to 4 star equipment is quite nice though) Any idea on what I should do next? Any input would be great.

Nice weapons and shield.

If you want a quick 5* suit you can just upgrade the Virulisk, quite lucky finding the 4*.

Should really try for a different helm though, probably something with Normal/Elemental. One can live without shadow defense in T3 by just avoiding fiends. Zombies aren't too bad once you know their attacks, and by doubling up on normal defense you won't take too much damage when attacked.

@Culture:

Thank you for the compliment and helpful tips. I can definitely handle myself with only a few problems with a few mobs when they decide to be a little more annoying than usual. I will definitely work on some upgrades.

@Thelemon

Although I said I wanted some critique, I would hardly consider your comment a critique, exactly what makes the weapons bad? They certainly help me a hell of a lot of the time. To me, that isn't considered bad. And why should I consider what you tell me to get? Come on man. Just saying this sucks, get this isn't very helpful at all. Give me something to back up your claims.

I'm going correct any sec now

I'm going to be corrected any sec now by someone
Here my imput

Brandish is good choice you got elemantal and shadow Damage that will cover 4 mob races
Think about get weapon slot upgrade they only cost 250ce( -100me )
if don't play day they last 30 days so skip 1 day to save some ce if ce price are bit out your current bugget since tend change alot
If get your going all sword i would pick a fourish line or snarble bulb cover beast and fiends mobs so you can deal extra damage and prepare for them all
or
Caliber line for it three swings and great charge and deal normal damage to all

If you need range
Get gun that deal normal like blaster line for range

Edited it to explian it better

Helm - Sleep resist is

Helm - Sleep resist is useless
Shield - Good
Armor - You are lucky
Weapons - Not bad as long as you know which weapon to use for what kind of monster, although a Flourish, Snarble Barb or Calibur is highly recommended

I'm glad you think they are good choices, that is definitely the reason I got them. Of course my lack of piercing damage for those other remaining mobs is a little concerning.

Oh and I am definitely going to get a weapon slot upgrade sometime in the near future, but only when I'm sure I'll get the most out of it. Nothing irks me more than buying something that has a time limit that slowly counts down even if you don't play. Especially for players who don't buy CE alot, they might manage to purchase that, but then they will be limited to playing that hour or so and then having to wait the 22 some hours for a full recharge.

I'm kind of thinking of going for the snarble barb sword for those beasts and fiends so I will have useful weapons against all, and then switch to the gun if I ever go against Vanaduke, it looks quite annoying to fight him without one.

@EliteChamp

Thank you for you helpful comments as well.

I mostly had the brute jelly helm because it was something i got from the token trader, so it was an energy saver to me. That and the fact that I was still trying for Royal Jelly runs.

I now have a Chroma Mask and I am working to upgrade it to a Salamander Mask for some elemental and fire resistance.
