I really thought there would have been a discount on weaker gears...because, you know, CLEARLY 375K IS WORTH MAKING A 1*STAR GEAR A VERY DEFINITELY GAMEBREAKING TOOL FOR TIER 1 VICTORY. Oh well, I'll just deal, I guess xD .
Yes, but imagine haze bombs. works for other low star gear but especially haze bombs since they're 1* that goes all the way to 5* (and are really popular) people would repeated reroll at cheap prices for the 1* haze bomb trying to get good uvs and then keep those uvs all the way to whatever they pick for the 5*.
It's for the rich rather than the middle/lower class. It gives them a reason to use crowns rather than hording it and forcing Crystal Energy prices upward.
The 1 UV cost is in almost any T3 player's price range. Hell, its probably in most T2 player's price range. The 2 UV and 3 UV are meant as enticements for the rich players. Odds of getting 3 good UVs is so low that 1 UV still works just fine.
Besides, nobody was expecting them to allow 3 UVs to be made, so its really just an expensive bonus.

the reason i said you mad bruh, was because i was like this as well. but once you think about it. it makes sense. would u really want to play a game where it is easy to get max items?
With any luck, the UV roller gets cheaper once the number of crowns floating around in the game dips a bit.
Either that or they go the REALLY labor intensive route, and make each individual item (or class of items) cost the same. For instance, Calibur line or Sealed Sword line stay at 375k, where one-star-only items drop to 15k or so, or 1-3 star drop to 50k? I don't know, something like that. Makes sense to me, anyhow.
