Someone I was playing with had told me that when becoming cursed from their Gran Faust, all of his weapons get cursed, and I found this strange because whenever I get cursed, it's always only one weapon (and one or two vials, if I have them).
Is this a bug I have/this guy had? Was there a mistake? Or is this dependent on resistances?

Not a bug.
Curse resistance affects both the amount of items cursed and the duration of the curse. If you have no curse resistance at all and are hit by a regular curse, then you will have 2 weapons and 3 vial slots cursed for around 40 seconds. If you have around 4 bars of curse resistance total and are hit by a regular curse, you will have only 1 weapon slot cursed at random and 2 vial slots cursed at random for about 30 seconds.
Curse resistance also affects the % chance of receiving a curse when using a charge attack from the faust or gran faust. I do not know these numbers off-hand, but it is possible to become 100% immune from self curse given enough curse resistant items.
This is just for regular curses, the penalties from strong curse would obviously be much higher, but I don't know any specifics right now. And although I haven't come across a weak curse yet (or havent paid enough attention), but I'm sure there's something that can apply a weak curse out there.

When I do Graveyards and a
When I do Graveyards and a Phantom hits me with its charged attack I only have 1 out 2 weapons cursed. I don't know if Gran Faust's curse is the same as Phantoms curse though. Maybe it will always leave you with one weapon available?

I can confirm that faust will curse both weapons if you only have 2 weapons equipped.

Maybe it is that Phantom's
Maybe it is that Phantom's Striker-like swords (I am in T2) isn't as powerful as Faust.

So question now is: how many weapon slots does your friend have, if its 4 does he have negative curse resist and finally how much curse resistence does your own gear have?

This guy had two weapon slots, but I don't know about his curse resist. I had three and full curse resist.
So, yeah. I suppose what someone had said about resistances earlier was true.

Regarding weapon slots
I can confirm what Twagz is true. I use 4 weapon slots and using the Gran faust, it usually curses 2 of my weapons and 3 vial slots. However, it rarely curses the faust itself so for 40 seconds that I am cursed... I can spam the gran faust as much as I please ^_^. I don't have any curse resistance and I doubt I ever need any, but having 4 weapon slots seem to help alot :D

Its a bug you have, curse curses 2 weapons < if you have 3 you will have 1 un-cursed but i dont know about 4> and all but one of your vials unless its a monster curse, then it depends on the strength of thier curse, if its from faust, its always the above stated
