I was thinking of getting a Sealed Sword with the JK tokens I have, since I have Strike Needle to shoot through (you know what[don't say it!]) in FSC, but Strike needle doesn't allow me to move regardless of that one update. I also have many swords.

On possible solution is to get a sealed sword, and upgrade it to a faust. From there, I think I'll kill JK a lot more, and get 40 tokens if I change my mind?

If I get faust, the last remaining effect that I can inflict will be Curse, with shock from the Alchemer/Kilowatt Pulsar

Argent Peacemaker for FSC,

Argent Peacemaker for FSC, Faust if you have no other Curse Weapons. Faust's only real purpose (IMO) is to Curse and to exploit shadow weaknesses.
If you have a solid party every time you go against the RJ(JK), there's no need for the Faust. My team just uses Vile Strikers and Levi Blades. It's all about the status ailments.

If you're going to Solo the jelly, get a weapon that inflicts Poison. Poison is better than Curse against the RJ, as poison hits consistently and Curse only hits when he spins (and when he is pink, he doesn't get any damage from Curse (or at least that's what I heard)). Stun's great when he turns pink - it stops his Berserk temporarily and you can go to town on him before he goes Berserk again.

Faust works against the normal jellies, and the RJ doesn't have a Shadow Weakness. It's default damage.

EDIT: Stun's only good when you get him stunned AFTER he turns back to purple (derp).

Double Edit: Faust is a viable alternative - but if you can go for the 5* - go for the Vile Striker. I find that the Faust hits too slow (as it hits the same rate as the SS), and the Vile Striker hits 7 times during its combo - meaning it has a higher chance of inducing poison onto that fat king.

This really makes it hard for me to decide whether I want an Avenger or a Faust now.

OT: Dread/Vile Striker and the Gran/Faust are both good alternatives - just pick one that suits your playstyle.

I've found the faust/GF very useful on tier 3 against slimes, gremlins, wolvers and the robot knights, mainly because of it's knockback (highly recommended to shield cancel with either faust or avenger)

Divine Avenger is better against the robot knights because they are weak to it, but you can still stun lock them with the full combo easily with either of the sealed swords, or just hit them once and knock them back enough distance so they can't hit you

I already have sealed sword, and now found out that I don't have weapons that can stun :/ lol

A lot of people usually have DA with them, which is useful in FSC 27 for some reason (mwahaha)

Eventually you'll want both

Eventually you'll want both DA and AP for FSC (I'm guessing you want to go to FSC?). Building a faust will delay your getting to FSC, so personally I'd take sealed sword and head down Avenger -- still works amazingly for jellies and upgrades straight to one of the key FSC weapons, whereas antigua won't be much help during JK levels.

Faust is a great weapon, but tacking on all that extra CE will take a while, unless if you buy.

also, normal hits can curse enemies but not yourself, you only have a chance of cursing yourself with the charge attack, and even then the chance is not too high to make it impossible to use, I have gone through full runs using the charge attack multiple times and not getting cursed once, so it's not that bad.

Then again there's other times that the first time I use it I get cursed, but I just switch to another weapon in case the faust gets cursed or use a remedy pill.

Good choice :D

shield cancel on faust/avenger? the second hit cancels enemy attacks :P have decent ASI and the enemies will never hit you (tried and tested :D )

I honestly seem to use faust more than divin avenger, mostly because i seem to have been on a load of slime themes recently.

Use them both against what they good against, get both :D

I got avenger first but didn't intend to get faust at the time, if i knew i was gonna get both faust would'v been first because its so good in jelly palace :)
