So, my friend recently decided to leave SK, gave me 753 CE, 100k Crowns, all of his materials and then vanished. So, iunno what do now. I've got a full Rock Jelly Set, a Levi, an Antigua, an SS, and a Needle Shot (besides all of the other starter pack stuff)
so I've currently got about 1.2K CE, 93753 Crowns, and am somewhat baffled on what to do next. I'm prolly going to go for the Silver6 unless someone says otherwise, and my "l33t" friend is saying I should go for the Divine/Vog Cub Set. I'm not sure on what to do or how to go about doing it. Also, what's the best set possible for the T2/3 Bosses? Halp?

Edit:
For those who TL;DRed - what's the best set possible to complement the Levi Blade, should I upgrade my other weapons, and what armor should I get for taking on Vanaduke/RJ (solo)

The standard issue set for

The standard issue set for Vanaduke is pretty much..

Vog Cub
Leviathan
Divine Avenger
Shivermist Buster
Gun of choice. Often Argent Peacemaker
Grey Owlite

RJ

Skolver
Leviathan
Shivermist
Barbarous Thorn Shield

Honestly you can go into RJ in any gear and destroy it.

On Solo, I get torn apart by the RJ (I never revive using energy, so all I have are the capsules and my weapons), so...

In most 4*-5* gear you can

In most 4*-5* gear you can easily kill JK. In 3* it would take Dusker, and you may die, but it's soloable nonetheless. The key is having vials, and using them properly. Curse vials are everything.

Meh, Curse doesn't help me

Meh, Curse doesn't help me out too much as he never attacks me since I don't bumrush him, like I should be. I know what to do - just not how to execute it.
Should I go for the Faust, then (as I can get it RIGHT now if I need to) - or should I wait it out and get a Vile Striker?

Personally, I'd head down DA

Personally, I'd head down DA or peacemaker for FSC. RJ really isn't that hard -- I take Vog and Levi there and have no problems, and RJ levels provide less crowns/heat than T3/FSC, so I don't see any huge benefit in building for it.
Even then, DA works perfectly fine in RJ levels.

@nox2go

That's what I'm assuming, but I'm going to go for Peacemaker first since I already have a 5* Sword. I'm also thinking of getting a Bomb, but not really sure A) how to use them and B) which ones are half-decent.

Yeah, I never really know what to do. Does everyone who says it's "easy" have full tier 5 gear?

You say your friend gave you 100k and you ended up with 93.7k? Did you have -6.3k crowns before that? LOL. And you get owned by JK with Levi and pierce resist? 1 revive is only 5ce... unless you died before that. Which you really shouldn't be dying, considering you're a 4 star player. Curse vials are still very helpful regardless if you don't rush him. It strips off 100 something (I think) HP when he spins.

As for your armor you want... Divine/Vog Cub is dumb. Don't bother with it. If you're mixing 2 sets then at least create a mixed set that resists against everythin, like Divine/Skolver. If not then you should just focus on 1 set so you get a high resist on what defense it provides against. Ditch your Needle Shot if you want the Silversix. Since you have a Levi then I'd say go for Skolver (that is, if you only want 1 armor set) with some fire resist on the cap and coat. That way you get pierce resist for JK and fire resist for FSC, and your Levi will be stronger. Just try not to get hit a lot in FSC with Skolver.

Also, another good weapon for JK is the Dread Venom Striker.

Who are these people?

To be honest, most of the responses here are just dumbbbbbbbb. lolz I'm not gonna address anyone directly or refute your arguments, but I'll answer your questions and concerns, Mikal.

If you're actually trying to build armor sets around a single sword, naturally you're gonna want to get both Wolver lines, since those best complement your sword. Except that's sorta dumb. :D Generally, most people will have 5-10 5* weapons before achieving 'game over', so I'd first off suggest you get more weapons and experiment.

Rock Jelly is a decent, standard set, but I'd suggest you don't make that 5* (except the helm as a costume). It's really hard to say what you should get, since really, I don't know what you like. Faust is awesome for dealing with slime levels because of the great knockback and the damage bonus, but Avenger is great for zombie/construct levels, pretty much for the same reason.

Ultimately you want to have at least one shadow weapon, one elemental weapon, and one piercing, so that you cover all the damage types. And after you decide which weapons you like most, that's when you should decide what armor sets to get. I really can't tell you what to do with your SS, since that was a hell of a battle for myself. DA is great for Vanaduke, but GF is great for any and all slimes (gremlins too I guess). As for Antigua, if you end up crafting it, make it an AP, since Sentenza is useless and awful. But Needle Shot is just as good for FSC (and better on Vanaduke/trojans). I wouldn't recommend you get both, but just one since they serve the same purpose.

So you've got your piercing weapon covered (unless you want a flourish too), which means you need elemental and shadow now. Get a brandish and decide which one (brandish or SS) you want as your shadow/elemental weapon--or get 2 brandishes or 2 sealed swords, idk. If you want to take the gunslinging route, grab a Polaris for the elemental weapon and Shadowtech for the shadow imo. As for bombs, well those are pretty easy.

The hard part is just deciding what you like, so if you have about 10k and some time to waste, pick up the weak versions of pretty much every decent weapon (cutter, alchemer, pulsar, flourish, freezing/fiery atomizer, blast bomb) and do T1, and see what you like from that point on. I myself have been meaning to do that with Cutter/bombs for a while, but haven't actually gotten around to it, so I stick with gun/sword.

Anyway, once you determine what weapon TYPE (gun/sword/bomb) you like, THAT'S when you decide on what armor set to get. If you want to just stick with swords go ahead and grab Vog, it's a lifesaver in T3 (literally), or else go experiment and maybe pick something up from there. Ofc, you have time to experiment once you're endgame anyway, so w/e.

TL;DR get Vog if you're boring, or else experiment with different weapon types and choose armor based on what you like.
