Lower the cost of elevators

10 energy just to use an elevator... Really?

Could you maybe lower it to like 5, or something that's not outrageous?
During power surge weekend, the cost of 2 was perfect!
you had enough enough energy to use alchemy stations, and enough to use elevators, but not enough to go all day, so you had to use it wisely.

I'm fine with the alchemy stations being 10 energy, that seems like a reasonable price for new gear, but elevators.... you're not even sure what you're going to get down there, or if you'll get to one of your favorite levels, so it's a gamble and a waste of energy to use them.

especially if you join a party at the end of a dungeon, you get lag when you first come in, and then they go up the elevator, back to haven, a HUGE waste of energy, if it was 2, it's a disappointment, if it was 5, it's a disappointment too, albeit a lager one, but not THAT bad, but 10, that's just frustration.

i dont wanna blame but...

this is again 1 of the newbie things, 10energy for alchemy? you need 10energy for 1* stuff, 2energy / elevator is TOO low, i except that you use only mist energy, well you can buy crystal enrgy with crowns, like..... if you would have 100mist energy last weekend, you would be able to go 50depths! for FREE, it means like 40-50k crowns from tier2 runs! with that you could buy like ~800ce, with that you could do 400depths!! and etc...
you have to remember, that this is free game, they have to get money someway. I can play for free because i make it sure i'll get enough crowns to buy more ce from every 100energy. when you get some further, you are gonna pay 200-300energy for 1 item, actually =600ce

Just an idea I had, to promote purchasing of CE, perhaps there could be a 10% or 20% discount on elevators that are riden using CE. Just a thought, could spark interest, add even more value to CE, and allow for slightly more gameplay over time, buy 5 rides get the 6th one free in essence.

Personally I think it is fine the way it is though, as samuraii said, with CE prices the way they are with one full tank of Mist Energy you can basically pay for 100 CE.

Sense when does alchemy cost

Sense when does alchemy cost 5 energy? I'm paying 50 per item made, and thats owwie but fine i can understand the balance of it. Otherwise one person could just craft everything all day long and nobody would really care about mats.

but as a sugestion I'd say lower the cost of elevatiors, but increase the cost of buying Crystal energy at the markets, then casual players can aford to play and hardcore gamers who don't use CS will pay larger amounts to play more making the buyers happier to make more money.

If you've never done alchemy, you can't really say anything. 10 ME per gate + alchemy + revives + energy gates + turrets + Mecha Knights = hardly any play time. Most of it is optional, but without CE you can either play or craft once per day, not both. I agree it needs to be lowered. Alchemy costs need to be lowered as well. 5 ME for a gate and half the energy price for crafting would be nice.

Maybe not a permanent lowered cost...

The idea for a Power Surge Weekend was really nice, though, are they planning on having more? Those would be great times to actually save up ce for those specific dates. Or maybe, to promote group exploration, a discount could be made if someone went in as a group instead of joining an already existing group.

Like, say, I signed up my 3 friends and I to enter tier2, and all that we would have to pay for each gate is 7 ce for the whole time we're in there. But if I just wanted to join a party already inside the Clockworks, same tier and everything, or if I wanted to go alone, I would have to pay the default 10.

A player shouldn't expect to rely on mist energy alone if they don't ever pay for CE. The whole point is that you can earn CE through crowns, you earn crowns from dungeons, and you explore dungeons with CE. It circles. You then will have the mist energy to supplement your CE and can do all kinds of things with two independent energy sources.

Well, a slight reduction to probably 7 energy per gate sounds fine to me, it would probably give casual gamers slightly more play time and enjoy this game more. 10 is a bit too much, 5 will be a giveaway. The energy for crafting is fine and reasonable. Just that 10 energy per gate is really very little playing time and not all map will provide much profit to earn back enough to buy ce, whatnot better equipments to explore dungeons without worrying too much

I'd like to see some mechanic

I'd like to see some mechanic that makes elevator costs scale down with larger parties. Eg, a single player who uses an elevator pays 10 energy but if there are two players each only pays 7 energy. It could help encourage players to form parties rather than play solo.
