What am I missing for Tier 2?

I have all 2-star equipment equipped, I've played through all of the gates as far as I can, and when I go talk to the Spiral Warden he tells me "Welcome to [whatever, can't remember his words exactly]" but I can't pass through the force field to get to the next elevator.
Is there a way to tell exactly what I'm missing?

Um... Well, you have everything, so I don't know what to do now. Maybe it's a bug...
Oh, and my bad, I wrote about tier 3 requirements (25 tier 2 tokens is for tier 3).

Did you continue your chat
Did you continue your chat all the way though with the Spiral Warden? If you exit the chat using the close button before he's finished talking your ear off you don't get the clearance.
25 level 2 tokens? 1 token = 1 cleared floor, and no, they don't appear in your inventory (at least it was like that). You can see them by pointing on tier 2 star for a few seconds.
