Hello everyone. I'm a pure gunslinger, and have been since I started T2 and could get the nice guns like the Toxic Catalyzer and the Kilowatt Pulsar.

My Setup is currently:
Sunset Stetson
Sunset Duster
Gigawatt Pulsar
Virulent Catalyzer
Wise Owlite Shield

All lvl 10, no UVs.

Recently, I've run into a problem dealing with the teleporting wolvers, as well as the really dodgy Devilites in T3. I crafted myself a Magnus and it seems to do fine in T2. However, I haven't gotten it to a Mega Magnus yet so I have no idea how it does in T3. I tend to let my partner deal with the fiends since he's got a Dark Thorn Blade.

I have a 2* Snarble Barb, and my question is whether I should go for a Mega Magnus or whether the Snarble Barb really is that much better at dealing with devilites and wolvers and greavers (oh my!). Thanks!

I do like the Snarble Bard

I do like the Snarble Bard (even more at 4*) but hey, I'm a swordsman (with a Shivermist and a few guns...).
If you're a gunner, just BE a gunner, go Magnus and kill'em all, though some say they can get devilites to run into the ricochets of some Alchemers, it seems rather convoluted to me.

Alchemers are rather simple

Alchemers are rather simple in use against Devilites, you just need to aim a little below/above when you are on their right/left side or a little to the left/right when you are below/above them.

Mega Magnus works great

Mega Magnus works great against T3 Devilites and Wolvers. Devilites will still dodge if they are not knocked down, but they'll get hit first. And it does AoE so you might hit the other ones nearby. Wolvers are the same, but they almost always get knocked down. It even takes down Alpha Wolvers with surprising ease.

Wolvers

Solo I would say magnus for wolvers/devilites. When you have a steady leveling partner it becomes a bit trickier since every shot you fire will generally cause the wolvers to dodge. Sometimes it's just better for the party if you bring a sword, but if you're very responsible with your shots and knock down at appropriate times then it can be awesome to have a Magnus around. Might be best to consult your group if you do have someone you regularly run with. For my group it's gotten to the point that things are no longer as dangerous, so I favor a flourish to speed up killing. Solo I always bring my Callahan though.

Video of the Callahan against t3 wolvers so you can see how it works: http://youtu.be/fAxkfjiJgGo

As far as fighting devilites in a party is concerned, I like to support with the shivermist and let my friends do the damage. Can't dodge if they're frozen!

Edit: For Greavers I like the flourish for the knockback, or the cryo driver for the freeze chance. Horrible things that need to be kept as far away as possible!
