A couple months ago, there were a few threads circling the forums about balancing issues for weapons, but none really for armor (one person made it, but it didn't seem to go anywhere seeing how many armor sets are still useless), so I decided to make another one.
Please talk only about the pieces you HAVE used, since you can't judge an armor piece just by looking at it. Sure, you see Chaos and it's got a billion debuffs with a tiny bonus so you say "wow, that piece must suck, make it better!"--but if you haven't actually had first hand experience with it, how can you definitely say it sucks? Also, keep in mind that like weapons, you should probably have several armor pieces for different occasions.
So yeah, tl;dr only complain about pieces you have actually used and they sucked.

Shadowsun Set
Summary: The max debuffs are not worth a low damage bonus.
Shadowsun set provides a maximum poison/curse weakness (each piece) and offers only a low damage bonus. Wearing just 1 piece, I receive 54 seconds of curse and 13 seconds of poison, which effectively renders me useless for the duration--a low damage bonus is certainly not worth it, especially when compared to Skolver which not only gives twice as much damage, it offers no weaknesses at all.
Nameless Set
Summary: No status resists?
It's not a big issue, but comparing this to Vog and Volcanic Demo, which BOTH offer Maximum fire resist, I'm surprised to see no resistances on the gun piece, and the lack of a 2* form makes it more difficult to obtain a decent UV (despite the expensive gremlin vendors). It would be cool to have some status resistance (fire, anyone?) so this can stand up to its sword/bomb counterparts.
