Make a prompt for the auction house where any auction say over 50,000 crowns has a prompt:

"Are you sure you wish to proceed with this trade?"

Reasons:
- Accidentally hitting 'buy now' on items where you mean to hit bid or the next button
- Save people from extremely costly mistakes
- Has no effect on cheaper items that are traded commonly, and people can turn it off if it bothers them

Yes, I accidentally lost well over 10k CE from buying an item with an insane buy out and as much as I wish it could be roll back I know it cant. Congrats to the owner.... and I hope they fix this problem I know others have had as well...

I see you point but at the same time I'd say really pay attention to what your doing. And that should prevent it. but the other side my mouse is a little weird at times and jumps...which could cause this to happen. But at that point is it something 3rings needs to fix or that I need to fix. Either way a little prompt shouldn't take much I would think and I mean they got them for everything else it seems.

Oh, I am extremely careful when it comes to the AH ... but this was my mouse not going all the way down to the "next" button and hitting "buy now" instead.

Everywhere else in the game where there is a cost involved of some sort, there is a prompt. However, this prompt would be limited to higher value trades so that material trading isnt bothered or slowed down. And yes, it wouldnt take much, the same as all the others and can be turned off if someone wants it off.

Absolutely. I too am usually careful with the AH, but unless you're letting "being careful" become an obsession that borders on crazyness, its imho impossible to get rid of that one in a million chance for clicking "buy now" instead of "next page" or something like that. Really, can't stare at the screen an extra 5 seconds and ask myself over and over again: "Is that right?" EVERY time I use a mouse button (without going insane).

I'd love to hear what OOO / GM's think about stuff like this. I too recently had my first buy-now-accident which cost me 60k. But unless this is a routine problem that's frequently being handled by GM's (by means of refunds?), I'd rather not bother one. After all, I have no idea how many cr I already made with stuff people bought accidentally... might just be some buggy form of retributive justice xD.

I've also made mistake like this a month ago where i thought i hit the "next" button i accidentally hit the "buy now" and cost me about 25kcr. I also post this same thread a month ago and nothing has been implemented about this situation. OOO really should implement the "are you sure" option so that no one will ever make a mistake about buying ridiculously priced items at AH.

Yeah, spending something when you didn't mean to can be quite a drag. I haven't done this myself, but I understand.

The goal of this thread is basically summed up by Chickenation above.
Similar concept to all the other prompts, but put one on the AH.

Also, its obvious that Im not the only one who has had this problem recently... so it would be nice if we could see it added in the next few updates before more people make this mistake since more and more expensive equipments are being added on the AH as people unbind.

Oh god I should place a haze bomb on the auction house for 100k crowns and hope somebody falls for it.
