I recently got a Troika and I really like it for some reason. Probably the power. And the way it attacks. Honestly, I think it's a lot more satisfying than the Cold Iron Vanquisher. For me.
So I thought I would make it a Khorovod. To use it with my Vanq. I wanna ask, is it effective in Tier 2? Is the damage a lot better than the Vanq's? And in which places specifically? Assuming I know how to use it, seen my buddy do it, and he's really good. (though tips would be appreciated, I can't know everything xD )
And yeah, I see they removed the rocks from the charge attack.
I am also going to make a Faust when I get the tokens for a Sealed Sword (not worth buying imo) but that's gonna be in a week or more. I really really like how the Troika works, and I wanna use it till I make the Faust (which I know is a lot better and works very similar).

Yes it's pretty awesome. Or

Yes it's pretty awesome. Or was when it had rocks. I used the Khorovod pretty much exclusively before the update. Since they got rid of the rocks though it's just not the same.
I'm sure they a lot cheaper now though, so ya, go for it.

Absolutely not worth it, at least until there's a 5* Troika available and noone knows when that will be!

You might want to get an elemental or piercing weapon instead, you'll be glad to have both later when you make your first "full vulnerabilities set" (p.E.: attack beast & fiend with flourish or magnus, attack construct & undead with blizzbrand or voltech alchemer, attack jellies and gremlins with your faust. Or something like that). Getting a Khorovod first will push you one 4* (that later will be a dust-catcher) further away from that.

I'm not looking to make a "full vulnerabilities set" any time soon. I just want to have fun in Tier 2 for now till I learn to play better with what I've got, even if I have 5* all.
I have high damage vs undead on my vanq, so I will use it against undead, jellies whatever, my armor gives high damage vs those. I avoid fiends at all costs, so I would get a flourish just for beasts.. :/
I think they will make a 5* version soon though.

You don't need to upgrade it

You don't need to upgrade it any further than kamarin then for that. Getting more 3* makes more sense most of the time than upgrading to 4/5* as long as you're staying in T2 (with the exception of bombs that get a bigger radius and some armor that gets better damage bonus or something, mostly all 5* equipment isn't better than 3* in T2 as the damage it does scales with the depth you're in).

( Attacking mobs almost exclusively with weapons they are vulnerable to makes a lot of sense in T2 too btw and choosing the right weapon for every situation is a big part of "getting better at playing")

Good line but may want to change for 4* Since recent patch

I find it a good line to follow (following it myself) as I like the damage and area of effect. Unfortunately I can't recommend keeping it since the reduced the Area of effect and removed the stun for the 4* version (but left in the 3* version, go figure?). I'm aiming to change it over to the sealed line or something similar when I have enough items (maybe follow the herd and use caliber?). Still using the Khorod and enjoy it :). Still unsure why they weakened it so much as it seemed fine with its slowest speed and having no 5* version.

Oh then I guess I will stick

Oh then I guess I will stick with the Kamarin unless I get some spare money/they make a 5* version.
