I've noticed you can have costume armor but as i don't know what amour looks like until I've tried it on, I can't tell if what costume I'd most enjoy. I'm sugesting we get a preview weapon/amour so I can tell what set I'd rather have if stats are the same between two or whatnot.
i also think weapon costumes would be helpful as the game progesses to stop harassment of higher tier characters and maybe add an interesting twist in pvp. Thanks :3
The idea is to hide a great weapon with a bad one, and if you HAVE a great weapon to use as a costume why not just use it as a weapon?
well.... i actually think the tier 1 weapons look the best to be honest. i mean who can top the heavy hatchet or the beast basher. and the small guns are just like awwww. the bombs at tier1 however aren't to snazzy.
I'd prefer a gumball over a tootsie pop =/ (I'm referring to the vaporizers XP) I do love the thwack hammer, used to use it ALL the time when I was new.
Though I'll say that weapon costumes would be great, it would be horrible also and I wouldn't recommend it. A preview of armours would be nice though for recipes and vendors. (Though I suppose that's what the wiki is for, it's always a pain to login each time the website doesn't remember me =/ Which is happening right now, I'm going to punch this forum =_=)
i tried abusing the forums once.....the outcome wasnt great.
Just have a system that makes it so you can't use a costume of a tier higher then the weapon you have equipped? (thus making weapon costumes not that bad)
I like this idea, I would love to at least see what I would look like with these helms or armors I am going to buy.
I think this also goes hand in hand with a character view option where if I see someone with great gear, I can view it to see exactly what they are wearing/using etc.
Weapon costumes won't stop harassment. It will actually make it worse. You'll look like you have a powerful weapon, but then when you play, you'll get mocked more for having a divine avenger that does 10 damage a hit to Jelly King.
But I'm up for the preview thing. Kinda like the dressing room function in a lot of social games.
