I've recently started playing and I've already decided I want to go for the Wolver Line for armour, Cutter line for sword, Blaster line for gun, and Owlite line for shield. Should I start from 2* or 3*? Would I be able to earn enough crowns in a reasonable amount of time for all the 3* items by just using my starter armour from the beginning? Or would I have to go to 2* then buy 3* again (because you can't upgrade it past level 1). Also, where would be the best place to go to earn enough crowns and how long would it take? Currently all my starting armour and weapons are at level 9.

Get to Tier 2!

Focus on getting to Tier 2. So yeah, aim for 2* gear first.

After you get to Tier 2, you can start running Jelly Palace, which is an excellent source of crowns.
You'll also gain access to Tier 2 Basil, where you can get recipes for some of these equips you want.

Hope this helps!

Generally I think that buying

Generally I think that buying 2* and then upgrading it to 3* by yourself is cheaper and more pleasant.

Also note that you can upgrade your 2* weapon past level 1 and then use it too craft 3* - the description is a bit misleading: if you need Owlite Shield (Level 1) to craft Horned Owlite Shield it means you need AT LEAST level 1 Owlite Shield, not that it must be exactly level 1. It may be level 3 or 7 or whatever.

Oh really? That's cool then.

Oh really? That's cool then. I also decided to go Calibur line instead of Cutter line.

hey, great stuff, but after

hey, great stuff, but after you get to tier two, you might want to start working on some other stuff. I have both the calibur and cutte line and they are great swords. Good job on deciding which sword you want too, i got my calibur first too, and it is great.

Cutter

Upgrade ur cutter until it's a hunting blade they are OP if you plan using cutter for a very long time but noT recommended
They do only normal damage but if you do JK a lot do venom then.

Why go for a hunting blade

Why go for a hunting blade which does extra damage to only beasts when you can go for a dread venom striker that can slow down healing and weaken a monster's defenses?

Why go for venom striker

Why go for venom striker when you can burn everything outside of FireStorm citadel?

I have a Combuster (Brandish Series), a Divine Avenger (Sealed Sword Series) and a Leviathon Blade (Calibur Series). Each serves a different purpose. Personally my sword of choice is the Combuster where it can burn everything with it's charge, but that's just my opinion.
