I reciently made the silversix, thinking in take adventage of the type damage, but its a waste when u have a mob that is weak against elemental, but strong against piercing and the result is damage reduced based in resistance type damage.

Here an example : Contruct family is weak against elemental, but strong to piercing. ( this is a contradiction for the gun)

Example 2 : Beast are weak to piercing but strong to elemental. ( another contradiction )

this gun only works in fiends!! and the other families, doesnt work well??

I suggest then that change the dual type to only one !! to piercing or elemental and an UV .. bcs like is actually is useless. ( this may be the best solution)

Or ignore the type resistence and take priority the advantage type damage in the corresponding families.

What about undead?

It is like every weapon that has a attack type 2 effective 2 neutral and 2 weak. It is just altered

Its not a contradiction, its

Its not a contradiction, its a poor choice of target. The gun works well against undead and Fiends because they are weak to 1 type of damage and neutral to the other (Which incidentally makes it an excellent weapon against Vanaduke), just the like the Black hawk is most effective against Gremlins and Beasts.

If you understand the resists and weaknesses correctly, you'll understand which monster families the weapons will be most effective against, and which ones it won't.

Antigua Series anyway a bad choice

Is very simple to understand the bonus damage system, but it seems most of the posters here don't. Let's explain. For example you got Silversix. It deals Piercing and Elementar Damage. You are attacking a Wolver (forget about the point you never will hit a Wolver with an Antigua :D) so lets say (just an example) you would deal 100 Damage. You get 50% more damage cause it's effective (this is not true, just example) so 150, but you also get -50% cause it's not effective -> 75 Damage. That's why the damage that you see marked as "weak" and never marked as "very effective" cause the bonus is never as much high as the malus is. That's why Silversix deals "normal" damage to Zombies, but in real it deals minimal bonus damage.

That's the problem with the Antigua Series. That's the reason why they are so weak. If you tell me "but they are good in FSC" i have to tell you ... no, they aren't. In FSC the Silversix will deal 60 damage against zombies and fiends, 30 against slime and 40 against construct. If you use a Strike Needle you deal 95 damage against the Fiends (horses) ... yea 95x6 or charched 120x15 what is 1800 ... you deal even faster your 6x95 than the Silversix. You can shot 3 shots with Silver in that time. Against Undead the Gigawatt Pulsar deals 180 damage and has even a huge splash + shock (+4x 25).

Silversix is a weapon for Swordmen who don't know what gun to take. A simple Master Blaster will deal normal damage - 70 to anything, also gets a huge bullet speed buff at *****.

Any piercing weapon is technically good against Vanaduke. The AP and Sentenza are somewhat not in that they deal split damage while Vanaduke himself is only weak to piercing. Something that deals pure piercing would be much more effective damage-wise, though maybe not so functionality-wise.
