Buying Stratums for private creation

Since we all share gates, we have to convince people to put certain minerals where.
Unfortunately, there will be uneducated masses who will simply press autosell, not knowing that the amount of minerals changes up a gate's stratum.

So here's what I propose.
We should be able to buy out stratums for private creation.
You could buy it for yourself if you wanted to do some... private researching.
Or you could buy it in the name of your guild, and direct your members to put certain minerals in their right spots.

This is the next best idea, other than guild exclusive gates.

Also, limit the ability for a newcomer to modify stratums.
Most new people would go around and press autosell, not knowing the consequences.

So here's what I propose.
People with access to T1 can only modify T1 stratums. When the stratums are completed, they cannot sell anymore minerals.
People with T2 access can modify T1 and T2 stratums.
People with T3 access can modify all stratums.

To prevent people tampering with stratums, making horrible gates.

It's not well documented yet

It's not well documented yet (and the recent change in stratum mineral size made it MUCH more expensive), but you actually CAN manipulate the composition of a tier by boosting the payout for minerals of a certain type. As far as I should know, this should automatically direct the autosell option to emphasize those higher payout mineral types. (However, this needs testing- the last week of preview is coming up, which is a good time for us to pledge our crowns to this task)

The issue is that most

The issue is that most newcomers will simply autosell their materials, not knowing how the system even works.
Some people really want certain stratums, but if we keep making beast stratums, people will be tired of those levels.

I'm not sure if private use

I'm not sure if private use stratums would work very well, and in either case it would be very expensive. However, I'm all up for the tier restrictions, although it might have some drawbacks - Newbies won't really have anywhere to deposit minerals.

And to add a note as to how the current stratums are terrible:
-Beast: A fine stratum usually. However, it has a high chance of spawning Aurora Isles (Grass zones). All of those don't have a varying playing area like clockworks or the such, and will always have the same spawns and map. This can be a bit boring. And usually, they aren't nearly as profitable as Clockworks or Arenas.
-Fiend: One of the most difficult stratums - The common presence of Greavers and devilites make for a difficult gameplay with status effects being inflicted all the time, and those devilish devilites. And that's not all - It commonly spawns Dark City zones, which are possibly one of the most difficult zones in the game. They aren't quite so profitable, either.
-Fire: And quite literally the most difficult stratum so far. Fire currently is way too strong - Most mobs on fire zones inflict it all the time, several having a 100% chance of doing it. It's not possible to block it, and neither is immunity. Fire arenas specially are pretty much the hardest zones in the game.

And also think about the materials - Without a good variety of stratums, not many materials will drop, and new players won't even be able to craft specific equipment that needs stratum-specific materials.

@Pauling - This is not currently the case. Crimsonites are dropping way too often, and with that several beast stratums are being made with the abuse of autoselling - Simply check all the new gates. They're all filled up with fiend, beast and fire, and rarely a single other stratum.

One other problem is simply the price for this - Come on. I'm not going to pay 15,000 crowns to boost the bonus by a SINGLE crown, which will have barely any effect. And in the current state, that only a single gate is open for construction, this will quite literally have no effect at all.

No, Pauling. Autosell sells

No, Pauling. Autosell sells ALL minerals. And because everyone picks up more crimsonite than anything else, boosting is officially useless.

Maybe the solution is to just

Maybe the solution is to just increase the turnover rate? Whenever there's a completed gate it replaces the oldest gate? Maybe also randomizing the initial prices (just a little, +-1 crown per)

Negative Boost

Boost starts at -5, so maybe autosell should just not autosell anything in the negative?

---> Also, it'd be nice if the game educated players a bit more about the DANGERS of autosell. It doesn't really say a lot at all, from what I recall.

Autosell doesn't sell in the

Autosell doesn't sell in the negatives at all.
However the very first stratum starts off with +5 all materials.

Autosell just sells ALL of the minerals in that one stratum.
You can only work on one stratum at a time in a gate.

Keep the boost system, make

Keep the boost system, make all minerals go to gates from one central deposit chute, and make autosell automatically send minerals to the highest-profit gates. Then the boost system affect gate composition as intended.

(And fix the crimsonite imbalance.)
