Hi, im a pure bomber and i have some questions.
well i play with pre-made party with 2 swordsmaster, 1 swords & guns and me a pure bomber and my job is CC so my question is if is a good idea get Vortex bomb first ? man i really love BOTH bombs but the blast bomb deals fine dmg but the knockback sometimes is deadly like push a (insert monster here) direct in to your teammates.
im only have 2* equip and my setup is...
-Basic bomber suit
Weapons slot 1:Freezing/fiery/toxic vap
Weapon slot 2:Super blast bomb or another Vap.

Shivermist is going to be your best bet for pure CC. It lasts a long time and is extremely predictable. Also, if you let the monsters thaw naturally they will take a good deal of damage.
The alternative for CC is Graviton Vortex which combos well with most sword charges. If you team knows to get a charge ready when you are dropping the Vortex it can work really well - a fast way to annialate a crowded room. If used specifically for CC it has some shortcomings when compared to Shivermist, but if used as an offensive combo bomb it is a bit better.
The Blast Bomb series is the standard for bombers looking to do massive damage. As you pointed out it can be disruptive to fellow swordies though, so you'll need to learn how to place it safely and when to put it away.
