That I got CTR VH on my Sealed Sword and I kept rolling it anyways....

Ok first what else could you want besides VH CTR?
2nd I am too but twice today I rolled about 6 times on an item just to get the same UV I started with...that stopped my rolling real quick, that and my lack of crowns. OOO really knows how to get to our basic human nature and exploit it for crowns!

I have a Deadly Venom Striker
I have a Deadly Venom Striker and an Umbra Driver as my two primary weapons. I took them to Punch and got... well, decent UVs. But the way I see it, even with no UVs, my weapons are still pretty good and they work for me, so I figure I can take them to get re-modded over time as many times as I want and I should never be in a hurry!
What's important to me right now is to get all the 5-star things I want, specifically my Drake Scale Shield (or Heater Shield, haven't decided), Divine Veil, and Radiant Silvermail. But once I have them, I never "need" to spend Crowns again, amirite? From then on I can simply channel all the Crowns I make into UV Tickets, probably Double Tickets (at 75k a pop), and eventually I'll hit that perfect winning jackpot on every item I'm wearing, and since I'm not in a hurry, it's OKAY if it takes ages. I'll be enjoying the game in the meantime either way. :)
Just think of your items as if they have no UVs at all, and play the dungeons with that mentality. Then you should be fine.
