I've been looking around, I can't afford anything in the AH so i'm going to make some armor, but I don't know which armor looks good, is strong, and isn't the Angelic line.

Dusker? Brute Jelly (this one
Dusker? Brute Jelly (this one doesn't look too good in my opinion)? Elemental Cloak? Gunsliger? Quicksilver (you need to defeat Roarmulus to get it)? Scary Skelly (being weak to Fire makes this Armor not so desired)? Solid Cobalt? Chroma Suit? Drake Scale (lack of Normal Defense makes this Armor suck)?

Well If you want a good combination of armors that protect you from 3 of the 4 damage types while not being bad defense go with plate mail for armor. ((Massive Normal Def)) and a drake scale helm ((Fire Resistance+Normal and Piercing Def)) .

Magic line?
If you are a swordie, a great alternative to the pervasive wolver line is the magic line. Remember too, you can choose any outfit as your costume. That way you can wear wolver for the sword bonuses then wear something else as a costume for the style points.
