Enemies should be hurt by spikes

One thing that drives me nuts is when an enemy with a ranged attack, especially Gremlin Healers, go and hide in brambles or spikes so that I have to take a bunch of unavoidable damage to go deal with them, less they keep using Heal: Target on bunch of gremlins I'm trying to kill.

Even if they didn't take damage, at least program them not to camp in areas we have to take damage to walk through.

Seconded. This is absolutely

Seconded.

This is absolutely obnoxious. I know the levels with traps are meant to make it trickier for the player to manuver and give us pause to our actions but this happens on almost every occasion.

And the added problem is that Shield Gremlins will dash and beat on you so switching to a alchemer MK II or a magnus to take them out usually results in you getting rocked by their buddies or shooting the shield goblin who immediately gets healed for the damage you do.

It is also annoying for loot retrieval.

Enemies probably should not

Enemies probably should not be damaged by spikes, unless they also attempt to avoid them. If they didn't avoid spikes, this would result in many of them dying before you even reach them.

In either case, they should definitely avoid spikes.

You can block the damage from

You can block the damage from the bushes/spikes to pick up loot until your shield breaks.

I agree that giving the baddies more realistic travel paths would be a good idea. It makes more sense, evens the perception of the battle, and would keep the skellies from poisoning themselves all the time.

Enemies being unaffected by

Enemies being unaffected by the environment is one of my pet peeves in games. Now, I can buy that some enemies wear iron plated boots and can walk on top of them, but wolvers and jellies sure as hell can't. But even still, when the spikes are up they should at least be slowed down by them, if not damaged.

I'm not sure about spikes,

I'm not sure about spikes, but I think it'd be a good idea if the brambles just acted like solid blocks, and you would take damage by touching them but not be able to walk inside them. Then enemies and drops would simply be pushed up against the sides of them. This was how I assumed they were when I first started the game, but found out otherwise later.

Hm

Today or yesterday I saw a Tortodrone get hurt by spikes.

Maybe they changed it?

Yeah I just saw that happen

Yeah I just saw that happen too. After that I went over and fought some Gremlins by spikes, but they still didn't hurt them though.
