Or a Pulsar (either line),
Or a Pulsar (either line), cryotech or voltech alchemer. Those all have crowd control effects; monsters that can't move or that have been singled out from a pack are easy targets for your swords. You'll have to learn how to use the pulsar if you choose it, making decent use of the knockback on it needs practice. Alchemers are pretty simple to play with though.

Alchemers are a good choice.
Of the ones Overdingle listed, I like the hail driver the best. Its the 5* of the cryotech line and its pretty darn useful in graveyards or freezing the movements of a gun puppy. :P

i use Valiance for everywhere
i use Valiance for everywhere but FSC... course its not as flashy as the other guns but it WORKS and works very well ;)
It seems pretty obvious to me, get a magnus -> callahan. You have all the other damage types covered, might as well get a callahan for piercing.
