Unless SK can make it so that it changes all the names across the board related to your player, then no-can-do. Sorry.
Don't get me wrong. I'd love to be able to change my name. I could change my mind on whether my name sounds stupid or not. But then, everything would end up so confusing. People wouldn't be able to tell one person from another. I could change my name to bob and no-one would know who the heck I am. Sorry, unrealistic idea.
Unless SK made our 'Name' our username, which would stay constant and separate from IGNs. SO you can change your name all you want but can still be distinguished by your Username. Although this is still less than realistic.

Happened already at the end of Beta mode. Anyways, +1 for this. OOO could use the same process as Steam. It has a "Aliases" option which shows all the past usernames. Or in RuneScape where it shows you the previous name.
Friend list would get all messed up. Sorry, -1
