To stop more threads of Vog vs Skolver and Levi vs CIV posts, here this is.

Vog is better than Skolver in FSC, and everywhere else is opinion.
Levi is better then CIV.
Pulsar and Xatalyzer are both equal.
Vile striker is better then the hunting blade.
Nitronome is the best bomb in the blast bomb line.
Snarble barb line is better then the flourish line.

But. But. Levi is only better

But. But.
Levi is only better than CIV by a teeny, tiny amount and doesn't do as much damage to undead or look as cool

And all the cool kid use it

add this:

barbarous thorn blade is exactly the same as final flourish in normal attack damage and animation. the only difference is their charge attacks

Your post contains false

Your post contains false claims, OP.
A CIV is obviously way better than a levi.
A CIV deals 16~ less damage than a levi at stratum 6. But since FSC is the endgame for everyone, and w % of it is undead. CIV is obviously better.
Plus the levi's knockback annoys teammates.
P.S. A sword with a nice looking blade and a chain or a........ Giant toothpick?

@arasuki

not true at ALL. Most people don't even use those for FSC, the knckbacj is just the same. Go troll your own thread.

The CIV the Aesthetics sword,

The CIV the Aesthetics sword, because some people think it's better to look good than feel good.

Through experimentation I

Through experimentation I found the Dark Thorn Blade to easily keep pace with the damage of Cold Iron Carver against undead. I have not repeated the test with the 5* versions because this test dissuaded me from sinking any more energy into the Cold Iron line, so if anyone happens to have both a CIV and Barbarous Thorn Blade it'd be interesting to know what the comparison is.

Barbarous thorn blade OWNS flourish

here it is...the final debate with Snarby as the winner being 2nd to DA in FSC. prepare for a heated debate:

Why Barbarous Thorn Blade is better than the Final Flourish

I have the 5* Barbarous Thorn Blade and not only have i found it amazing in Firestorm Citadel, its also really cool. I believe it is beter than the 5* Final Flourish in many ways.

For Vanaduke at fully heated/leveled it does:
1) 230 dmg on regular attack last slash/lunge dealing 270 (numbers are rounded)
2)Charge does 400 on initial slash with Snarby phantom and spikes doing 88 dmg each. Thats more than the Silversix at level 10 (I have that too.)
3) The charge goes through force fields. The whole entire charge.
4) The Charge prijetiles are not interfered by walls like the Divine Avenger's
5)Assuming 8 spikes hit the opponent (point blank) the damage dealt is over 1000!!!! No joke it seriously is. ( [88*8] + 400= 1104)
6) Is supereffective against trojans doing about 70 dmg more.
7)Snarby ftw!!!!!

***These calculations were made on the damage dealt on Skellys since they are the most conmmon monster mob in Firestorm Citadel.***

Yes it's good, but reason

Yes it's good, but reason number 4 is bad. In the last room of d27 FSC, you WANT to break the blox so you can heal. Otherwise it's good.

@Xylka You're wrong about the

@Xylka

You're wrong about the damage Barbarous Thorn Blade does.

It actually hits 10 times, not 9.

1 initial hit, 8 spikes, and a hologram bite. Hologram bite does ~50% initial hit damage.

(I've calculated over 2500 damage in a single hit against a T3 Trojan with maximum fiend damage)

Against Vanaduke, it hits for around 1400 per per charge.

@Bigfoot

Stop being wrong about everything.

He's not referring to blocks.

He's referring to the fact that that the charge attack can go over chest-high barriers. The kind you shoot over. See : Lots of fiend levels.

No weapon shoots through blocks without breaking them.

That being said, what you SHOULD have given as your argument, is that DA is the only weapon that can break the 3 wheels in the first party button room of D24.

Not that you should need to destroy those, and honestly it's a waste of time. But you can.

Furthermore, DA is the only weapon that can break through D27's final room early, to get to the regenerating health.

Though, that should also be pointless. You should have full health from the area before, if you're taking spike/fire damage you're bad.
