I play Spiral Knights with my TI-83 Plus graphing calculator. Sometimes I use the mouse, too.
Post here if you play Spiral Knights with a calculator.
im asian so i play with a abacus ;)
Anyone else using the programming feature on the calculator to program in stuff? I used to use it to program math equations for games such as you type in your damage, their armor, your attacks per second etc and it would tell you dps. Once even spent a whole day of school programming the equations in the back of my math book all into a single program that had a list that you could choose what program you wanted. My biggest accomplishment was a text based game that read more like one of those interactive goosebump books. took me several weeks to plan and build the thing and then when I let my brother play it he comes back into the kitchen with the batteries out and said "I couldn't figure out how to exit the program so I pulled out the batteries, here you go."
This is what i do in math class.
I once programmed a sidescroller actiony game....it was really hard to play because you could hardly see anything.
What.
<_>
I don't udnerstand anything.
Why not your brilliant mind? :D
I use an ancient method of recording using tree bark and human blood.
I always calculate how long it will take me to recharge to 100 mist from any given time, then plan accordingly.
I do calculations and estimates for finding how much I need to pay if I want to get all my X# of star level equipment. I take my average from mats I sell and crystal I put in gates from my daily Mist energy usage, the amount I usually earn from certain gates, and then figure out how fast I can get the energy needed for crafting all of them. I look at the lowest price on the AH for the recipe I want and add more crowns to the price in case I don't get it soon enough, or no one tries to offer lower. Then I figure out how many days that would take. Sometimes I think that takes the fun out of it, but it makes it fun when I get a steal on an item and find that my 10000 estimate was 8000 in the end.
I've been getting terrible lag on my alarm clock.
>.>
I'm very bad about spending energy. I'll deliberate about the real dollars for a little while, but as soon as it's energy, I'm covering everybody, reviving for 80, crafting a whole bunch of stuff I don't need, buying crowns out of impatience...
I rarely stop to think about how much energy something costs, and I always feel a bit foolish when I'm surprised that I have none left. :p
And Three Rings thanks you for it.
I just use a calculator for figuring out prices when I'm selling
I use a ti-89 when calculating ce prices, of course, I could use something else.
i can do those in my head :)
but when it comes to mats, crafting and unbind...... >_>
dont mean to duble post but i meant to reply to post #8
Epic Fail on my part lol
Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS scientific calculator.

EDIT: For those that do not know, pulling out the batteries on a TI-83+ erases any non archived programs and you can't boot an archived program so... he erased the whole thing.
