..are you allowed to have?
Is it only 2 or can you have more?
Dont know too much about this, any know-it-all that can inform me? :D
How many characters..
You can have as many as you like. But you'll share mist energy between them if you use the same computer until you purchase some energy.
...wait, what? If we use the same computer? Are you sure you don't mean the same account?
If you create 2 accounts on 1 computer without buying Crystal energy with real money on either of them, they will share mist energy. This means if you craft an item requiring 50 energy on one account, the other account will also lose 50 energy. This has nothing to do with the number of knights either account has. Buying crystal energy with real money on either or both accounts will cause this to cease.
However, knights on the same account will always share mist energy; it's bound to the account, not the knight.
...is this a glitch? Or an elaborated incentive to give OOO more money?
Does it change anything if I use a different browser (Chrome, FireFox, etc)?
It's not a glitch. It's an attempt at preventing people from getting unlimited mist energy without paying by making more accounts. Three Rings basically decided, fine, if you're going to pay some, you can have the extra mist energy, since it isn't as useful spread among multiple accounts as it would be all on one account.
I doubt switching between browsers would do anything.
Actually i'll clarify my question, how many characters is one to have, if he buys crystal energy ?
I bought ce and i have 2 accounts. What is the limit?
I believe you can have as much characters as you want, as long as you buy CE on those extra accounts as well.
(though I once heard something about max. 3 accounts on one computer, but I guess it was just a rumor)
As far as I know, there is no limit to how many accounts you can have.
There is a max of 3 free accounts on a computer. Its the same mechanism that controls mist energy sharing, and is mostly there to discourage spam accounts. Payed accounts are exempt from this rule.
Also note that when you login to another computer with a free account, it examines how much mist energy each should have since the last time they logged on, and automatically defaults to the one with the lowest amount. This is to stop people from hopping machines to get around the mist energy regeneration.
OOO was pretty through to make sure no-one could exploit mist energy.
@starlinvf: The question of this thread is what the max for *paid* accounts is.
Per account it's three characters.. though if you make more accounts I don't see why you couldn't have more characters :)
