I've spent a bit too long making money on this game and have yet to go to fsc and beat vanaduke.

This will probably the set and weapons I will bring:

Nameless Hat
Nameless Poncho
Wise Owlite Shield

Cryo Driver (the only weapon I ever need)
Blackhawk (deals anything my cryo doesnt)
Ascended Calibur (so reliable)

I'm a gunslinger, so really I don't. But I got a faust and vile striker for jelly king, I don't mind getting an avenger if it would help me at fsc. I have a spare weapon slot anyways and my I don't think the rest of my collection of guns will help me on the journey.

Seriously, I think the ice gun is all I need LOL

No, you don't need a divine

No, you don't need a divine avenger. For elemental damage, I'd prefer my glacius. Just because a lot of other people want some particular gear doesn't mean that you should want it, too, or even that the gear is all that good.

That said, I'm not saying that you need a glacius, either. If you mostly use guns, then a normal damage sword such as what you have will let you use a sword against whatever you need without a damage penalty. That means you can carry only one sword, and leave spots open for multiple guns, as seems to be your preference.

Most people use the DA in FSC

Most people use the DA in FSC for the huge amout of AOE damage its charge attack can cause, and the knockback that comes with it.

You can achieve the same effect with a Polaris, so if you're a gunslinger and want that huge amount of knockback on the FSC zombies, get a polaris.

The standard for bombers is

The standard for bombers is to carry a Levi since it deals normal damage, that way the other three weapon slots can be bombs. Actually for FSC, I do:
Leviathan
Shivermist
Nitro or Voltaic Tempest or Graviton Vortex
Radiant Sun Shards or Argent Peacemaker

I imagine the same would be true of gunslingers... bring a normal damage sword so that you can carry more guns.

Leviathan is almost as good as a DA for FSC, so don't worry about bringing down the team or anything like that. Because of the Levi's charge attack and ease of acquisition, I'd say it is actually more common in FSC than DAs nowadays. It is nice to have at least one person on the party with a DA though, their charge attack can go through some walls which is useful but not entirely necessary.

Why are you bringing a Blackhawk/Sentenza to FSC instead of a Silversix/Argent Peacemaker? Just why? (granted, if you're going for pure gunslinger you probably shouldn't bring either, but still... why?)

So for my first time at fsc, I did bring those 3 weapons only. My other team all had DA's, Argent Peacemakers and Shivers. Unfortunately we lost at the boss, good fight though.

The blackhawk/Sentenza has the same damage as the other for the boss. I use my hail driver for the undeads (elemental dmg), so my other gun to cover the rest is the blackhawk (piercing/shadow).

I guess for fsc only, I may consider the silversix/avenger for fun only. Otherwise I think the Polaris is probably the 4th weapon I'm missing. It could bring variety in my gameplay with my hail driver, instead of icing them, pushing them back and hurting them more with explosions. I have all the recipes but was reluctant on using it because why do I need another elemental gun when I'm very happy with my hail driver... but will get it soon because it looks fun :)
