As you can see, most portraits are bugged except the one in the middle. I very rarely get a knight's face there, often I get a random texture thingy like that green blob everyone else has.

Deleted the rsrc folder in appdata and now it seems to be working.
Some of your resource files are probably corrupted. You can try manually unpacking the jars in the /rsrc/ folder, or you could use a shotgun approach, delete the /rsrc/ folder and have the launcher redownload and auto-repair the directory.
