new status effects?

well seeing as I've played this game for ages and know most of the strategies of getting past mobs, i was just thinking there could be some new status effects that armour/ weapon lines can be based around.
First off: Waterlogged
Status against the player: after getting waterlogged by a mob, the player will struggle to move properly, in which a player will continue sliding in the direction they were moving in, and further will bounce off walls.
Status against mobs: this is where the fun begins. if a player waterloggs an enemy, if they are normal (not fire or heavy hitters) they will slide as the players do. if they are a trojan or a lumber, waterlogging will be beneficial, making them slide after their large swing attacks and continue the damage (kind of like the tortodones drill attack, but they cant stop until they hit a wall). if they are a fire type mob, every time a fire attack is thrown, the fire will turn into an ash cloud (perhaps if a player runs into it their screen could blur). oilers could be diluted and do less damage when on fire.
Other: an entire armour line (alchs, breaker armour, vaporizers etc) could also be based around this.
Second: spiral
Status against the player: when a player is affected by the spiral status, they will perform a flip and face plant whenever they go to shield (resulting in a loss of 1/2 seconds).
status against mobs: when a mob is affected by the status, it will make them occasionally trip over, or if they are a chroma, it will make them spin every time they attack (creating an effect like the caliburs charge att) which makes it beneficial to them.
Meh, how about we get a buff for a change?
There's buff mobs, might as well give the player something too.

these aren't puzzles shoebox? they're status effects and only suggestions. calm your farm.
There are two status effects not used in the game files already: Muddle and Doom.
I imagine muddle was going to be one of those things that reverse your directional buttons.
Doom was probably one of those countdown to death things.
But for one reason or another they were scrapped or have yet to be implemented.
PS: NO SLIDING PUZZLES EVER.
