So does everyone get different recipes from Basil?
Like i get Toxic Vaporizer Recipe and someone else would get Fiery, but not Toxic?
And do the recipes you get randomize? Or are you stuck with the ones you have?

The recipes are randomized
The recipes are randomized each time you visit Basil.
People in your party see the same recipes as you see.
People that are NOT in your party will see different recipes.
Hope it makes sense :)

I got lucky and found out
I got lucky and found out basil got a wrench wand which mean I can beat contracts better because theybare annoying.probally not more annying than fiends but I got weeps that cover that up.

Why on earth would you get a wrench wand? It's a 2* item that doesn't go all the way to 5*. There are FAR better options even an alchemer is better than a wrench wand.

Fun is fun, so have fun.
The wrench wand looks awesome and sometimes it's fun to play with different stuff even if it won't be carried through as you progress. I played tier 1 with a slime slasher the other day just because it's fun to swing a shovel.

This is the second time I've
This is the second time I've seen gerryw give wrong info on Basil. To clarify:
1) Basil, in the clockworks, refreshes on every single run you make. Hence why some people shop, exit, and start over.
2) If you did not join at least two levels before the Basil crossroads (meaning you played at least one entire level), everything above one star items will be listed as out of stock
3) There is another vendor in the bazaar who sells recipe, I think the max level is 3*. He refreshes once a day.
