Ask a Master Shoewearer anything.
Ok, for FSC I recommend asbesto lined shoes. You can use the slip on sandal versions with the asbestos dust. This'll afford you a certain level of comfort for FSC and still maintain your maximum Fire Resist.
If it was for regular clockworks running I would suggest the Plate lined shoes. As they're more durable.
I know this because I've worn many pairs of shoes over the course of my life. And as such am a master.
Lololololololololololololollollllolololololol. You should graveyard this.
What shoes do you reccomend for walking on those nassssssty spikes?
Maybe Jelly shoes for spikes? They'd be very comfy and a tasty snack to boot! (get it? boot?)
Jelly shoes? I prefer mine made of wyverns! Those are some solid spike running shoes. Ever see a wyvern run from spikes? I don't think so.
Thanks for the advice, and for the IMF? Those stactic traps sure messed up my wyvern shoes. Perhaps some boots?
Rubber to insulate. I wonder if jelly would work like rubber? Who wants to test >:D

You shouldn't wear a shoe for that purpose; it is much easier to clean your foot than it is a shoe.
Also, stop reacting so violently to a joke thread, christ. Vulgar langauge is an offense punishable by temporary bans, y'know.
I'm often finding jelly pieces stuck in my shoes after running jelly palace. is there a particular shoe I can use to keep my feet clean of this vile jelly discomfort, or are my feet destined to be forever gummed?
(Freeze jellies are the worst. It just does NOT come off)
You'd think freeze jellies would melt off after a while. Perhaps wearing jelly shoes would cause the jelly pieces to slide off? Or it might stick more.... Not sure about this one =S
Dear IronSkullKid,
As was recommended I'd suggest you put soft pillows on your feet. As to ease the pain and increase the difficulty you would have in attempting to lodge something in my orifice. I would think it would then be about as difficult as for you to spell check your title!
"us" your youknowwhat? Hahaha.. silly. On second note I checked my keyboard. Those two keys are very far from one another. Might I suggest getting rid of your giant hambone hands with some sort of corrective surgery?
I would use a liberal amount of Vog oil to remove the frozen jelly bits from your shoes. I've found that after setting the vial of oil over a fire trap for approximately 10 minutes it allows the Vog oil to penetrate deeply and remove the really worked in frozen jelly. Thanks for asking!
How does one obtain Vog oil from a Vog? o.O
What shoes should i wear to crush the little birds that are wandering around Haven all the time?
It hurts my feet when I walk on that steel ground, any comfy better suggestions? :B
I slip and fall constantly :(
Any ideas?
@stupy
Thank you so much! The heated vog oil worked wonders, searing off the frozen jelly quite nicely. However, now I have another (related) problem:
Recently I was transversing Firestorm Citadel and I inadvertantly stepped on a fire trap. While this has had the awesome effect of making my shoes appear to be on fire, the heat was rather uncomfortable and I shortly found myself incapcatitated on the floor. Do you have any suggestions for repairing my now-charred footware?

I want to run faster than a Slag Guard's charge. Have any shoes for that?
I managed to obtain the Boots of Bilging from another OOO game. How can I make the most of them as a knight?
You might wanna remove the crab and give the boots a good oiling to make it waterproof. But wait, we don't have rain, do we? Still, the crab is good eatin', once you get past the stinky foot and fish smell.
I've been looking for something in the Rollerblade area but I haven't been able to find the recipe. If anyone sees it please tell me.
PS: If I were to wear greaver shoes would I be able to fly?
What are the best shoes.
Well Casey, that's like asking, "What is the best weapon?" Depends on your situation; IE freeze jellies stuck on shoes? Spikes? What are you needs?
No I need to know what the best ones are. You don't understand. Just tell me what are the best shoes.
I like to wear high heels personally. It's more of a work out and I like to be able to stare my opponents in the face, as I am a short lady bot.
Hey,
I came to a dead-end with some solid blocks blocking my path but there was treasure behind the blocks! Later I realized that there was a blue block earlier that I could've hit but now sadly a gate bars my way from that section of the level. Are there any shoes you could recommend me to help get to the treasure with these blocks in my way? Or better yet shoes you could recommend to go back in time, perhaps?
Sincerely yours,
Velcro

As for running faster than a slag guard. I suggest you find and apply liberal amounts of Quicksilver oil to your shoes. Your best bet is to carry some sort of electrical charge with you and apply it when needed. Keep your legs together however as they tend to go in different directions if not controlled.

@Threattoall
I would suggest using the desecrated remains of the snipes that Miojo will leave in haven! They're bound to be soft and squishy. If a bit messy... But to counter that, line them in jelly for extra stickiness and less mess! It's a two in one deal.

@Jamini
I'm so sad to hear your troubles in regards to your walking apparatus aka feet. My firm and very very strong opinion is that to repair your shoes you have to first find and slay the snarbolax. His hide is apparently durable enough to repel everything but bells. So my suggestion is that after using jelly as an adhesive you apply liberal amounts of post-bell softened snarbolax hide to your shoes. When they cure due to sufficient time away from bells you'll have one of the most durable sets of footwear known to knighthood.

The best way to use these boots in this particular game is to change the texture mapping of your knight's feet to that of your newly acquired footwear. This however will probably have the unintended side effect of making you sound like a pirate. Eyepatches ahoy.

For rollerblade recipes I'd check the ever elusive 30th depth. This is found by going to the core and submitting a gm ticket with excessive amounts of crying. Good luck in your endeavor.
As for attaching greavers to your feet I would myself use magikats. Not only do they allow you to hover but the mewing is adorable.

@caseyweederm
The best shoes are the ones that fit your feet. I know this is hard to believe as it's hard to find such an elusive pair of shoes. I've personally found mine off the bodies of my fallen brother(&sister) knights. They have good fashion sense.

@Dancinjen
Not only do high heels provide a distinct height advantage, but they allow you to traverse over spikes. As Ive found they are only a few pixels higher than the ground. Do keep in mind that grates are your biggest enemy.
---------
@Geminidreams
As for shoes I sadly don't know of any that can get you back over the blocks themselves but I do know of a certain exploit. You take the slime from a lichen and form a pool on the ground. Make sure it's fresh, as the viscosity is low. Now stand on the lichen's lifeblood and spin counter to the rotation of the clockworks. If you do so fast enough you'll slow down and eventually reverse the rotation of the planet. This will allow you to slow and eventually return to your previous time. Hence saving the headache.

Three words. Actually eight total.
Crocheted Kitten Mittens. :3
I've recently started experimenting with bombs and was wondering what you'd advise is best... should I get a different pair to match each bomb set or is there a single solution? Obviously it is best to avoid being in the blast area, so it would have to be something that still allows me to run away.
Sometimes , however, it is unavoidable so I need something that will keep me warm if I use shivermist, but should also be fireproof and scuff resistant {shards and briars can cause a lot of scuff damage :( } Ideally it should be easy to clean as toxic vapor can stain terribly if not cleaned off and also bits of monster (especially jelly) can be a nightmare to remove.
What shoes should I wear when I'm travelling within a Fire-themed gate?
Currently I'm wearing no shoes, as I don't want to buy shoes that I'll immediately regret buying, but I understand that having the right pair of shoes can make a large difference.
I need to know this for FSC, of course.
